This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Oracle Java Runtime Environment. Interaction with the JavaFX library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the rendering of HTML in JavaFX. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated data structure. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Connector/Python). Supported versions that are affected are 8.0.13 and prior and 2.1.8 and prior. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via TLS to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all MySQL Connectors accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all MySQL Connectors accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
A race condition in perfeventopen() allows local attackers to leak sensitive data from setuid programs. As no relevant locks (in particular the credguardmutex) are held during the ptracemayaccess() call, it is possible for the specified target task to perform an execve() syscall with setuid execution before perfeventalloc() actually attaches to it, allowing an attacker to bypass the ptracemayaccess() check and the perfeventexittask(current) call that is performed in installexeccreds() during privileged execve() calls.
