In the Linux kernel, picknextrtentity() may return a type confused entry, not detected by the BUGON condition, as the confused entry will not be NULL, but listhead. The buggy error condition would lead to a type confused entry with the list head, which would then be used as a type confused schedrtentity, causing memory corruption.
Out-of-bounds write in the BIOS firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.

A flaw in the processing of received ICMP errors (ICMP fragment needed and ICMP redirect) in the Linux kernel functionality was found to allow the ability to quickly scan open UDP ports. This flaw allows an off-path remote user to effectively bypass the source port UDP randomization. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and possibly integrity, because software that relies on UDP source port randomization are indirectly affected as well.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.19. The XFRM subsystem has a use-after-free, related to an xfrmstatefini panic, aka CID-dbb2483b2a46.
A flaw possibility of race condition and incorrect initialization of the process id was found in the Linux kernel child/parent process identification handling while filtering signal handlers. A local attacker is able to abuse this flaw to bypass checks to send any signal to a privileged process.
DISPUTED scp in OpenSSH through 8.3p1 allows command injection in the scp.c toremote function, as demonstrated by backtick characters in the destination argument. NOTE: the vendor reportedly has stated that they intentionally omit validation of "anomalous argument transfers" because that could "stand a great chance of breaking existing workflows."
OpenSSH is vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack, caused by an observable discrepancy flaw. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to launch a man-in-the-middle attack and gain access to the communication channel between endpoints to obtain sensitive information or further compromise the system.

A flaw was found in the way the mwifiexcmdappendvsietlv() in Linux kernel's Marvell WiFi-Ex driver handled vendor specific information elements. A local user could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's mwifiex driver implementation when connecting to other WiFi devices in "Test Mode." A kernel memory leak can occur if an error condition is met during the parameter negotiation. This issue can lead to a denial of service if multiple error conditions meeting the repeated connection attempts are attempted.
In the Linux kernel 5.0.21, mounting a crafted btrfs filesystem image and performing some operations can cause slab-out-of-bounds write access in btrfsmapblock in fs/btrfs/volumes.c, because a value of 1 for the number of data stripes is mishandled.
In the Linux kernel 5.0.21, mounting a crafted btrfs filesystem image, performing some operations, and then making a syncfs system call can lead to a use-after-free in mutexlock in kernel/locking/mutex.c. This is related to mutexcanspinonowner in kernel/locking/mutex.c, btrfsqgroupfreemeta in fs/btrfs/qgroup.c, and btrfsinsertdelayeditems in fs/btrfs/delayed-inode.c.
In the Linux kernel 5.3.11, mounting a crafted btrfs image twice can cause an rwsemdownwriteslowpath use-after-free because (in rwsemcanspinonowner in kernel/locking/rwsem.c) rwsemownerflags returns an already freed pointer,
A memory leak in the fastrpcdmabufattach() function in drivers/misc/fastrpc.c in the Linux kernel before 5.3.9 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering dmagetsgtable() failures, aka CID-fc739a058d99.
A memory leak in the cryptoreportstat() function in crypto/cryptouserstat.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering cryptoreportstatalg() failures, aka CID-c03b04dcdba1.
In the Linux kernel before 5.0.3, a memory leak exits in hsrdevfinalize() in net/hsr/hsrdevice.c if hsraddport fails to add a port, which may cause denial of service, aka CID-6caabe7f197d.
A buffer overflow flaw was found in the way Linux kernel's vhost functionality that translates virtqueue buffers to IOVs logged the buffer descriptors during migration. A privileged guest user able to pass descriptors with invalid length to the host when migration is underway, could use this flaw to increase their privileges on the host.
An out-of-bounds access issue was found in the Linux kernel, all versi ...
A flaw was found in the XFS file system in the Linux kernel. An acquired ILOCK was not freed/unlock when the call to xfsqmvopchownreserve fails and the lock is still held and can lead to denial to access for that device. This is primarily a local denial of service but could result in a remote denial of service if the XFS file system is exported as an NFS file system.
A flaw in the kernels implementation of ptrace which could inadvertantly grant elevated permissions to an attacker who could abuse the relationship between tracer and the process being traced.
The mechanism used to link the process requesting the ptrace and the process being ptraced could allow a local user to obtain root level priviledges by creating an opportunity to abuse the frequently used pattern of dropping privileges and then execve a child with reduced privileges/permissions.

NetApp AFF A700s Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) firmware versions 1.22 and higher were shipped with a default account enabled that could allow unauthorized arbitrary command execution.
An issue was discovered in getvdevportnodeinfo in arch/sparc/kernel/mdesc.c in the Linux kernel through 5.1.6. There is an unchecked kstrdupconst of nodeinfo->vdevport.name, which might allow an attacker to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash).
A flaw was reported in kernel TCP subsystem while calculating a packet round trip time, when a sysctl parameter (/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcpminrttwlen) when is set wrongly. This causes an integer over flaw which can lead to a Denial Of Service (DOS) attack.
