Gather Date Sampling (GDS) is a transient execution side channel vulnerability affecting certain Intel processor. In this flaw, a local attack using gather instruction (load from memory) may infer stale data from previously used vector registers on the same physical core.

An information leak flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IPv6 implementation in the ipv6selectident in net/ipv6/outputcore.c function. The use of a small hash table in IP ID generation allows a remote attacker to reveal sensitive information.

NetApp FAS 8300/8700 and AFF A400 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) firmware versions 13.x prior to 13.1P1 were shipped with a default account enabled that could allow unauthorized arbitrary command execution via local access.

A vulnerability was found in NTP. A security issue which enables an off-path attacker to prevent ntpd from synchronizing with NTP servers not using authentication. A server mode packet with spoofed source address sent to the client ntpd causes the next transmission to be rescheduled, even if the packet doesn't have a valid origin timestamp. If the packet is sent to the client frequently enough, it will stop polling the server and not be able to synchronize with it.
