less could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system. By using a newline character in the name of a file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the system.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ksmbd, a high-performance in-kernel SMB server. The specific flaw exists within the processing of SMB2SESSIONSETUP commands. The issue results from the lack of proper locking when performing operations on an object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the kernel.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, high integrity impact, and no availability impact.
A flaw was found in the way libcurl handled TLS 1.3 session tickets. A malicious HTTPS proxy could possibly use this flaw to make libcurl resume a TLS session it previously had with the proxy while intending to resume a TLS session with a target server, making it possible for the proxy to perform a man-in-the-middle attack.
curl 7.1.1 to and including 7.75.0 is vulnerable to an "Exposure of Private Personal Information to an Unauthorized Actor" by leaking credentials in the HTTP Referer: header. libcurl does not strip off user credentials from the URL when automatically populating the Referer: HTTP request header field in outgoing HTTP requests, and therefore risks leaking sensitive data to the server that is the target of the second HTTP request.
ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 8.5 has a double free that may be relevant in a few less-common scenarios, such as unconstrained agent-socket access on a legacy operating system, or the forwarding of an agent to an attacker-controlled host.
Element OS versions prior to 1.8P1 and 12.2 are susceptible to a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to perform arbitrary code execution.
curl 7.41.0 through 7.73.0 is vulnerable to an improper check for certificate revocation due to insufficient verification of the OCSP response.
An issue was discovered in mm/mmap.c in the Linux kernel before 5.7.11. There is a race condition between certain expand functions (expanddownwards and expandupwards) and page-table free operations from an munmap call, aka CID-246c320a8cfe.
A flaw was found in the CPU microarchitecture where a local attacker is able to abuse a timing issue which may allow them to infer internal architectural state from previous executions on the CPU.
A flaw was found in the implementation of Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) where a local authenticated attacker with the ability to execute AVX instructions is able to gather AVX register state from previous AVX executions.
This could allow information disclosure of AVX register state.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, low integrity impact, and no availability impact.
DISPUTED scp in OpenSSH through 8.3p1 allows command injection in the scp.c toremote function, as demonstrated by backtick characters in the destination argument. NOTE: the vendor reportedly has stated that they intentionally omit validation of "anomalous argument transfers" because that could "stand a great chance of breaking existing workflows."
A use-after-free flaw was found in usbsgcancel in drivers/usb/core/message.c in USB core subsystem. This flaw could allow a local attacker with special user privilege (or root) to crash the system due to a race problem in scatter-gather cancellation and transfer completion in usbsgwait. This vulnerability can even lead to a kernel information leak problem .
Here usbsgcancel() does not take any reference to the transfer and there is nothing to prevent the URBs from being deallocated while the routine is trying to use them.
Taking a reference by incrementing the transfer's io->count field while the cancellation is in progress and decrementing it afterwards can be way to address this. The transfer's URBs are not deallocated until io->complete is triggered, which happens when io->count reaches zero. ~~~ BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in atomicread include/asm-generic/atomic-instrumented.h:26 [inline] BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in usbhcdunlinkurb+0x5f/0x170 drivers/usb/core/hcd.c:1607 Read of size 4 at addr ffff888065379610 by task kworker/u4:1/27 ~~~

A flaw was found in Python. The built-in modules httplib and http.client (included in Python 2 and Python 3, respectively) do not properly validate CRLF sequences in the HTTP request method, potentially allowing manipulation to the request by injecting additional HTTP headers. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity.
Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS), as used in Mozilla Firefox is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when using certain cryptographic primitives. By sending an overly long argument, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service.
A memory leak in the cryptoreportstat() function in crypto/cryptouserstat.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering cryptoreportstatalg() failures, aka CID-c03b04dcdba1.
A vulnerability was found in NTP. A security issue which enables an off-path attacker to prevent ntpd from synchronizing with NTP servers not using authentication. A server mode packet with spoofed source address sent to the client ntpd causes the next transmission to be rescheduled, even if the packet doesn't have a valid origin timestamp. If the packet is sent to the client frequently enough, it will stop polling the server and not be able to synchronize with it.
A flaw was reported in kernel TCP subsystem while calculating a packet round trip time, when a sysctl parameter (/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcpminrttwlen) when is set wrongly. This causes an integer over flaw which can lead to a Denial Of Service (DOS) attack.

Eclipse Jetty is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by improper handling of Chunked Transfer-Encoding chunk size. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks.
A race condition was found in the way Linux kernel's memory subsystem handled breakage of the read only private mappings COW situation on write access.
An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to gain write access to otherwise read only memory mappings and thus increase their privileges on the system.
