A flaw was found in quartz through version 2.3.0. A XXE attack is possible in the Terracotta Quartz Scheduler using a job description. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A resource consumption vulnerability was discovered in apache-commons-compress in the way NioZipEncoding encodes filenames. Applications that use Compress to create archives, with one of the filenames within the archive being controlled by the user, may be vulnerable to this flaw. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to cause an infinite loop during the archive creation, thus leading to a denial of service.
When Connect workers in Apache Kafka 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, or 2.3.0 are configured with one or more config providers, and a connector is created/updated on that Connect cluster to use an externalized secret variable in a substring of a connector configuration property value, then any client can issue a request to the same Connect cluster to obtain the connector's task configuration and the response will contain the plaintext secret rather than the externalized secrets variables.

Google Guava versions 11.0 through 24.1 are vulnerable to unbounded memory allocation in the AtomicDoubleArray class (when serialized with Java serialization) and Compound Ordering class (when serialized with GWT serialization). An attacker could exploit applications that use Guava and deserialize untrusted data to cause a denial of service.
