Buffer Overflow
CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H

An exploitable heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the data structure persistence functionality of OpenCV 4.1.0. A specially crafted XML file can cause a buffer overflow, resulting in multiple heap corruptions and potential code execution. An attacker can provide a specially crafted file to trigger this vulnerability.

Vulnerability in the Advanced Networking Option component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1 and 19c. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Advanced Networking Option. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Advanced Networking Option, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Advanced Networking Option. Note: The July 2021 Critical Patch Update introduces a number of Native Network Encryption changes to deal with vulnerability CVE-2021-2351 and prevent the use of weaker ciphers. Customers should review: "Changes in Native Network Encryption with the July 2021 Critical Patch Update" (Doc ID 2791571.1). A vulnerability in Apache Tomcat allows an attacker to remotely trigger a denial of service. An error introduced as part of a change to improve error handling during non-blocking I/O meant that the error flag associated with the Request object was not reset between requests. This meant that once a non-blocking I/O error occurred, all future requests handled by that request object would fail. Users were able to trigger non-blocking I/O errors, e.g. by dropping a connection, thereby creating the possibility of triggering a DoS. Applications that do not use non-blocking I/O are not exposed to this vulnerability. This issue affects Apache Tomcat 10.0.3 to 10.0.4; 9.0.44; 8.5.64.

A memory leak flaw was found in Apache Tomcat, where an HTTP upgrade connection does not release for WebSocket connections once the WebSocket connection is closed. If a sufficient number of such requests are made, an OutOfMemoryError occurs, leading to a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.

Impact Accepting the value of various Text options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. For example, initializing the datepicker in the following way: js $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker( { showButtonPanel: true, showOn: "both", closeText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'closeText XSS' )</script>", currentText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'currentText XSS' )</script>", prevText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'prevText XSS' )</script>", nextText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'nextText XSS' )</script>", buttonText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'buttonText XSS' )</script>", appendText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'appendText XSS' )</script>", } ); will call doEvilThing with 6 different parameters coming from all Text options.

Patches The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various Text options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML.

Workarounds A workaround is to not accept the value of the Text options from untrusted sources.

Patches The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the of option is now treated as a CSS selector.

Workarounds A workaround is to not accept the value of the of option from untrusted sources.
