In Spring Cloud Function versions 3.1.6, 3.2.2 and older unsupported versions, when using routing functionality it is possible for a user to provide a specially crafted SpEL as a routing-expression that may result in remote code execution and access to local resources.
A Spring MVC or Spring WebFlux application running on JDK 9+ may be vulnerable to remote code execution (RCE) via data binding. The specific exploit requires the application to run on Tomcat as a WAR deployment. If the application is deployed as a Spring Boot executable jar, i.e. the default, it is not vulnerable to the exploit. However, the nature of the vulnerability is more general, and there may be other ways to exploit it.
In spring cloud gateway versions prior to 3.1.1+ and 3.0.7+ , applications are vulnerable to a code injection attack when the Gateway Actuator endpoint is enabled, exposed and unsecured. A remote attacker could make a maliciously crafted request that could allow arbitrary remote execution on the remote host.
A flaw was found in libxml2. A call to the xmlGetID function can return a pointer already freed when parsing an XML document with the XMLPARSEDTDVALID option and without the XMLPARSENOENT option, resulting in a use-after-free issue.
A flaw was found in the Apache Log4j logging library 2.x. when the logging configuration uses a non-default Pattern Layout with a Context Lookup. Attackers with control over Thread Context Map (MDC) input data can craft malicious input data that contains a recursive lookup and can cause Denial of Service.
Impact
Netty currently just skips control chars when these are present at the beginning / end of the header name. We should better fail fast as these are not allowed by the spec and could lead to HTTP request smuggling.
Failing to do the validation might cause netty to "sanitize" header names before it forward these to another remote system when used as proxy. This remote system can't see the invalid usage anymore and so not do the validation itself.
A flaw was found in the way NSS verifies certificates. That will happen both when client reads the Certificate message from the server or when server is configured to ask for client certificates and then receives one.
Firefox is not vulnerable as it uses the mozilla::pkix for certificate verification. Crucially, NSS fully parses the certificate before any other checks, so disabled signature methods or certificate types don't impact exploitability.
Any TLS and DTLS client that does use NSS built in certificate verification routines is vulnerable as well as any server that has certificate based client authentication enabled.
But the issue is not limited to TLS, any applications that use certificate verification are vulnerable, S/MIME is impacted too.
Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all MySQL Connectors accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash.

A flaw was found in curl. The flaw lies in how curl handles cached or pipelined responses that it receives from either a IMAP, POP3, SMTP or FTP server before the TLS upgrade using STARTTLS. In such a scenario curl even after upgrading to TLS would trust these cached responses treating them as valid and authenticated and use them. An attacker could potentially use this flaw to carry out a Man-In-The-Middle attack. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality.
A flaw was found in curl. This flaw lies in the --ssl-reqd option or related settings in libcurl. Users specify this flag to upgrade to TLS when communicating with either IMAP, POP3 or a FTP server. An attacker controlling such servers could return a crafted response which could lead to curl client continue its operation without TLS encryption leading to data being transmitted in clear text over the network. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality.
Impact The Bzip2 decompression decoder function doesn't allow setting size restrictions on the decompressed output data (which affects the allocation size used during decompression).
All users of Bzip2Decoder are affected. The malicious input can trigger an OOME and so a DoS attack
Workarounds No workarounds other than not using the Bzip2Decoder

The Key Distribution Center (KDC) in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.18.5 and 1.19.x before 1.19.3 has a NULL pointer dereference in kdc/dotgsreq.c via a FAST inner body that lacks a server field.
curl 7.61.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from exposure of data element to wrong session due to a mistake in the code for CURLOPTSSLCIPHERLIST when libcurl is built to use the Schannel TLS library. The selected cipher set was stored in a single "static" variable in the library, which has the surprising side-effect that if an application sets up multiple concurrent transfers, the last one that sets the ciphers will accidentally control the set used by all transfers. In a worst-case scenario, this weakens transport security significantly.
GnuPG Libgcrypt could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper handling of ElGamal encryption. By using side-channel attack techniques against mpipowm, and the window size, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
A flaw was found in the way curl handled telnet protocol option for sending environment variables, which could lead to sending of uninitialized data from a stack-based buffer to the server. This issue leads to potentially revealing sensitive internal information to the server using a clear-text network protocol.
A use-after-free flaw was found in the way curl handled TLS session data. The curl versions using the OpenSSL library as their TLS backend could use freed memory after TLS session renegotiation was performed by the OpenSSL library. A malicious TLS server could use this flaw to crash or, possibly, execute arbitrary code with the privileges of a client application using the curl library.
A flaw was found in python-ipaddress. Improper input validation of octal strings in stdlib ipaddress allows unauthenticated remote attackers to perform indeterminate SSRF, RFI, and LFI attacks on many programs that rely on Python stdlib ipaddress. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data integrity and system availability.
Apache Thrift is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper input validation. By sending specially-crafted messages, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a large memory allocation.
In JetBrains Kotlin before 1.4.21, a vulnerable Java API was used for temporary file and folder creation. An attacker was able to read data from such files and list directories due to insecure permissions.
The MediaWiki "Report" extension has a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. Before fixed version, there was no protection against CSRF checks on Special:Report, so requests to report a revision could be forged. The problem has been fixed in commit f828dc6 by making use of MediaWiki edit tokens.
A flaw was found in bouncycastle. The OpenBSDBCrypt.checkPassword utility method compared incorrect data when checking the password allowing incorrect passwords to indicate they were matching with previously hashed ones that were different. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A flaw was found in kubernetes. If a potential attacker can already create or edit services and pods, then they may be able to intercept traffic from other pods (or nodes) in the cluster.
A flaw was found in Guava that creates temporary directories with default permissions similar to /tmp. This issue may allow local users access, possibly permitting information exposure.
A flaw was found in the Jackson Databind package. This cause of the issue is due to a Java StackOverflow exception and a denial of service via a significant depth of nested objects.
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.6.7.4, 2.7.x before 2.7.9.7, 2.8.x before 2.8.11.5, and 2.9.x before 2.9.10.2 lacks certain net.sf.ehcache blocking.
A flaw was found in Apache Thrift versions 0.9.3 to 0.12.0. A server implemented in Go using TJSONProtocol or TSimpleJSONProtocol may panic when feed with invalid input data.

A flaw was found in Apache Thrift up to and including 0.12.0. A server or client may run into an endless loop when feed with specific input data. Because the issue had already been partially fixed by THRIFT-4024 in version 0.11.0, depending on the installed version it affects only certain language bindings.

A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 prior to 2.9.10.1, 2.8.11.5, and 2.6.7.3. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the apache-log4j-extra (version 1.2.x) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can provide a JNDI service to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload.
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 prior to 2.9.10.1, 2.8.11.5, and 2.6.7.3. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the p6spy (3.8.6) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can find an RMI service endpoint to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. This issue exists because of com.p6spy.engine.spy.P6DataSource mishandling.
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.10. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the commons-dbcp (1.4) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can find an RMI service endpoint to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. This issue exists because of org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.SharedPoolDataSource and org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource mishandling.
