A flaw was found in FasterXML Jackson Databind which did not have entity expansion secured properly making it vulnerable to XML external entity (XXE). This vulnerability is similar to CVE-2019-10172. The primary threat from this flaw is data integrity.
A flaw was found in the Apache Log4j logging library 2.x. when the logging configuration uses a non-default Pattern Layout with a Context Lookup. Attackers with control over Thread Context Map (MDC) input data can craft malicious input data that contains a recursive lookup and can cause Denial of Service.
A flaw was found in jackson-databind. FasterXML mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A vulnerability was found in Hibernate-Validator. The SafeHtml validator annotation fails to properly sanitize payloads consisting of potentially malicious code in HTML comments and instructions. This vulnerability can result in an XSS attack.
Impact Accepting the value of various Text options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. For example, initializing the datepicker in the following way: js $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker( { showButtonPanel: true, showOn: "both", closeText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'closeText XSS' )</script>", currentText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'currentText XSS' )</script>", prevText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'prevText XSS' )</script>", nextText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'nextText XSS' )</script>", buttonText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'buttonText XSS' )</script>", appendText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'appendText XSS' )</script>", } ); will call doEvilThing with 6 different parameters coming from all Text options.
Patches The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various Text options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML.
Workarounds A workaround is to not accept the value of the Text options from untrusted sources.

Impact Accepting the value of the of option of the .position() util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. For example, invoking the following code: js $( "#element" ).position( { my: "left top", at: "right bottom", of: "<img onerror='doEvilThing()' src='/404' />", collision: "none" } ); will call the doEvilThing() function.
Patches The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the of option is now treated as a CSS selector.

Impact Accepting the value of the altField option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. For example, initializing the datepicker in the following way: js $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker( { altField: "<img onerror='doEvilThing()' src='/404' />", } ); will call the doEvilThing function.

In Apache Commons IO before 2.7, When invoking the method FileNameUtils.normalize with an improper input string, like "//../foo", or "\\..\foo", the result would be the same value, thus possibly providing access to files in the parent directory, but not further above (thus "limited" path traversal), if the calling code would use the result to construct a path value.

Impact Passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing them - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code.
Patches This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0.
Workarounds To workaround this issue without upgrading, use DOMPurify with its SAFEFORJQUERY option to sanitize the HTML string before passing it to a jQuery method.

In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.15 and versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.7, a WebFlux application is vulnerable to a privilege escalation: by (re)creating the temporary storage directory, a locally authenticated malicious user can read or modify files that have been uploaded to the WebFlux application, or overwrite arbitrary files with multipart request data.
Apache Log4j <=2.14.1 JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled (CVE-2021-44228).
A Prototype Pollution vulnerability was found in jquery. Untrusted JSON passed to the extend function could lead to modifying objects up the prototype chain, including the global Object. A crafted JSON object passed to a vulnerable method could lead to denial of service or data injection, with various consequences.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder product of Oracle Communications Applications (component: FACE). Supported versions that are affected are 6.1-6.4. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder executes to compromise Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 4.7 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N).
Vulnerability in the Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder product of Oracle Communications (component: Provision API). The supported version that is affected is 6.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Communications Interactive Session Recorder. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L).
Spring Security 5.4.x prior to 5.4.4, 5.3.x prior to 5.3.8.RELEASE, 5.2.x prior to 5.2.9.RELEASE, and older unsupported versions can fail to save the SecurityContext if it is changed more than once in a single request.A malicious user cannot cause the bug to happen (it must be programmed in). However, if the application's intent is to only allow the user to run with elevated privileges in a small portion of the application, the bug can be leveraged to extend those privileges to the rest of the application.
