phpIPAM through 1.8.1 fails to verify that a requested IP address belongs to the subnet a temporary share token was issued for. In app/tempshare/index.php and app/tempshare/address.php, when the share type is 'subnets', the subnetId parameter is used directly as a database primary key to fetch an address without confirming the address belongs to the authorized subnet. An unauthenticated party holding any valid, non-expired temporary share URL can enumerate the subnetId parameter to read every IP address record across all sections and subnets, including hostnames, DNS names, MAC addresses, owner/contact fields, and notes (which may contain credentials and configuration details).
PHPIPAM is affected by an authenticated local file inclusion vulnerability that allows users with access to the API to execute/include arbitrary PHP files on the web server's file system. The API is not enabled by default on installations.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Request IP form in phpIPAM v1.7.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the instructions parameter for the /app/admin/instructions/edit-result.php endpoint.
phpIPAM v1.7.3 contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the database export functionality. The generate-mysql.php function, located in the /app/admin/import-export/ endpoint, allows remote attackers to trigger large database dump downloads via crafted HTTP GET requests if an administrator has an active session.
phpipam 1.6 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) via app\admin\import-export\import-load-data.php.
phpipam 1.6 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) via /app/tools/request-ip/index.php.
SQL Injection in GitHub repository phpipam/phpipam prior to v1.5.2.
Cross-site Scripting (XSS) - Reflected in GitHub repository phpipam/phpipam prior to 1.5.1.
A vulnerability has been found in phpipam and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file app/admin/import-export/import-load-data.php of the component Import Preview Handler. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 1.5.0 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is 22c797c3583001211fe7d31bccd3f1d4aeeb3bbc. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-212863.
phpipam v1.5.0 was discovered to contain a header injection vulnerability via the component /admin/subnets/ripe-query.php.
Incorrect Authorization in GitHub repository phpipam/phpipam prior to 1.4.6.
phpIPAM 1.4.3 allows Reflected XSS via app/dashboard/widgets/ipcalc-result.php and app/tools/ip-calculator/result.php of the IP calculator.
An issue was discovered in tools/pass-change/result.php in phpIPAM 1.4. CSRF can be used to change the password of any user/admin, to escalate privileges, and to gain access to more data and functionality. This issue exists due to the lack of a requirement to provide the old password, and the lack of security tokens.
app/tools/mac-lookup/index.php in phpIPAM 1.3.1 has Reflected XSS on /tools/mac-lookup/ via the mac parameter.
app/sections/user-menu.php in phpIPAM before 1.3.1 has XSS via the ip parameter.
Multiple Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issues were discovered in phpipam 1.2. The vulnerabilities exist due to insufficient filtration of user-supplied data passed to several pages (instructions in app/admin/instructions/preview.php; subnetId in app/admin/powerDNS/refresh-ptr-records.php). An attacker could execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a browser in the context of the vulnerable website.
