A vulnerability has been found where an authenticated client can send a malicious XML-RPC request to supervisord that will run arbitrary shell commands on the server. The commands will be run as the same user as supervisord. Depending on how supervisord has been configured, this may be root.

rubygem-sprockets before versions 2.12.5, 3.7.2 and 4.0.0beta8 are vulnerable to a path traversal flaw in the sprockets/server.rb:forbiddenrequest?() function. A remote attacker could exploit this to read arbitrary files from the Sprockets server.

It was found that CloudForms does not verify that the server hostname matches the domain name in the certificate when using a custom CA and communicating with Red Hat Virtualization (RHEV) and OpenShift. This would allow an attacker to spoof RHEV or OpenShift systems and potentially harvest sensitive information from CloudForms.
