An issue was discovered in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ through 66.1. An integer overflow, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow, exists in the UnicodeString::doAppend() function in common/unistr.cpp.
:lookup:Key and index lookups <jsonfield.key> for :class:~django.contrib.postgres.fields.JSONField and :lookup:key lookups <hstorefield.key> for :class:~django.contrib.postgres.fields.HStoreField were subject to SQL injection, using a suitably crafted dictionary, with dictionary expansion, as the kwargs passed to QuerySet.filter().
Buffer overflow in system firmware for EDK II may allow unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege and/or denial of service via network access.
A vulnerability was discovered in the PyYAML library, where it is susceptible to arbitrary code execution when it processes untrusted YAML files through the fullload method or with the FullLoader loader. Applications that use the library to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code on the system by abusing the python/object/apply constructor.
In PyYAML before 4.1, the yaml.load() API could execute arbitrary code. In other words, yaml.safeload is not used.
DISPUTED An issue was discovered in NumPy 1.16.0 and earlier. It uses the pickle Python module unsafely, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized object, as demonstrated by a numpy.load call. NOTE: third parties dispute this issue because it is a behavior that might have legitimate applications in (for example) loading serialized Python object arrays from trusted and authenticated sources.
A flaw was found in Nodejs's mixin-deep prior to versions 1.3.2 and 2.0.0. The mixin-deep function could be used to add or modify properties of the Object.prototype. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
By-passing Protection of PharStreamWrapper Interceptor
A buffer overflow in DOSBox 0.74-2 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code.
In ZeroMQ libzmq before 4.0.9, 4.1.x before 4.1.7, and 4.2.x before 4.3.2, a remote, unauthenticated client connecting to a libzmq application, running with a socket listening with CURVE encryption/authentication enabled, may cause a stack overflow and overwrite the stack with arbitrary data, due to a buffer overflow in the library. Users running public servers with the above configuration are highly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible, as there are no known mitigations.
HTCondor up to and including stable series 8.8.6 and development series 8.9.4 has Incorrect Access Control. It is possible to use a different authentication method to submit a job than the administrator has specified. If the administrator has configured the READ or WRITE methods to include CLAIMTOBE, then it is possible to impersonate another user to the condorschedd. (For example to submit or remove jobs)
SchedMD Slurm 17.11.x, 18.08.0 through 18.08.7, and 19.05.0 allows SQL Injection.
A flaw was found in ghostscript, versions 9.x before 9.50, in the setsystemparams procedure where it did not properly secure its privileged calls, enabling scripts to bypass -dSAFER restrictions. A specially crafted PostScript file could disable security protection and then have access to the file system, or execute arbitrary commands.
An arbitrary file copy vulnerability in modcopy in ProFTPD up to 1.3.5b allows for remote code execution and information disclosure without authentication, a related issue to CVE-2015-3306.
In version 4.8.0 and earlier of The Sleuth Kit (TSK), there is a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the YAFFS file timestamp parsing logic in yaffsfsistat() in fs/yaffs.c.
pacman before 5.2 is vulnerable to arbitrary command injection in lib/libalpm/sync.c in the applydeltas() function. This can be exploited when unsigned databases are used. To exploit the vulnerability, the user must enable the non-default delta feature and retrieve an attacker-controlled crafted database and delta file.
An issue was discovered in Rsyslog v8.1908.0. contrib/pmcisconames/pmcisconames.c has a heap overflow in the parser for Cisco log messages. The parser tries to locate a log message delimiter (in this case, a space or a colon), but fails to account for strings that do not satisfy this constraint. If the string does not match, then the variable lenMsg will reach the value zero and will skip the sanity check that detects invalid log messages. The message will then be considered valid, and the parser will eat up the nonexistent colon delimiter. In doing so, it will decrement lenMsg, a signed integer, whose value was zero and now becomes minus one. The following step in the parser is to shift left the contents of the message. To do this, it will call memmove with the right pointers to the target and destination strings, but the lenMsg will now be interpreted as a huge value, causing a heap overflow.
An issue was discovered in Rsyslog v8.1908.0. contrib/pmaixforwardedfrom/pmaixforwardedfrom.c has a heap overflow in the parser for AIX log messages. The parser tries to locate a log message delimiter (in this case, a space or a colon) but fails to account for strings that do not satisfy this constraint. If the string does not match, then the variable lenMsg will reach the value zero and will skip the sanity check that detects invalid log messages. IMAP and ManageSieve protocol parsers do not properly handle NUL byte when scanning data in quoted strings, leading to out of bounds heap memory writes.
An issue was discovered in The Sleuth Kit (TSK) 4.6.6. There is an off-by-one overwrite due to an underflow on tools/hashtools/hfind.cpp while using a bogus hash table.

Cyrus IMAP 2.5.x before 2.5.14 and 3.x before 3.0.12 allows privilege escalation because an HTTP request may be interpreted in the authentication context of an unrelated previous request that arrived over the same connection.
An issue was discovered in phpMyAdmin before 4.9.2. A crafted database/table name can be used to trigger a SQL injection attack through the designer feature.
Apache PDFBox 2.0.14 does not properly initialize the XML parser, which allows context-dependent attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted XFDF.
OpenConnect 8.09 has a buffer overflow, causing a denial of service (application crash) or possibly unspecified other impact, via crafted certificate data to getcertname in gnutls.c.

To exploit the vulnerability, the user must enable a non-default XferCommand and retrieve an attacker-controlled crafted database and package.
