A vulnerability allowing to elevate privileges from the abrt user to root was reported. If a program starting with the name "abrt" crashes, abrt-hook-ccpp will write the coredump to /var/tmp/abrt/$filename-coredump or /var/spool/abrt/$filename-coredump. From abrt-hook-ccpp.c:

The call to xopen3() does not include the flag ONOFOLLOW and is therefore vulnerable to a symlink attack.
This vulnerability is not exploitable on RHEL installations with default configuration. It can be exploitable if the system is configured to use non-RHN yum repositories. This is because yum is normally not usable by non-root users if the only configured repositories are RHN.

A random memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU i915 kernel driver functionality in the way a user may run malicious code on the GPU. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system.

The nftverdictinit() function allows positive values as drop error within the hook verdict, and hence the nfhookslow() function can cause a double free vulnerability when NFDROP is issued with a drop error which resembles NFACCEPT.

A vulnerability was discovered in Tomcat where if a servlet context was configured with readonly=false and HTTP PUT requests were allowed, an attacker could upload a JSP file to that context and achieve code execution.
A flaw was found in Node.js versions before 6.15.0, 8.14.0, 10.14.0 and 11.3.0. A Denial of Service with large HTTP headers. By using a combination of many requests with maximum sized headers (almost 80 KB per connection), and carefully timed completion of the headers, it is possible to cause the HTTP server to abort from heap allocation failure. Attack potential is mitigated by the use of a load balancer or other proxy layer.

Original Description
While investigating bug PROTON-2014, we discovered that under some circumstances Apache Qpid Proton versions 0.9 to 0.27.0 (C library and its language bindings) can connect to a peer anonymously using TLS even when configured to verify the peer certificate while used with OpenSSL versions before 1.1.0. This means that an undetected man in the middle attack could be constructed if an attacker can arrange to intercept TLS traffic.
It was discovered that the JNDI comment of OpenJDK did not properly enforce the restriction controlled by the com.sun.jndi.ldap.object.trustURLCodebase system property. In certain cases, a Java LDAP client could unexpectedly load and execute code form an LDAP server.
It was found that the raw midi kernel driver does not protect against concurrent access which leads to a double realloc (double free) in sndrawmidiinputparams() and sndrawmidioutputstatus() which are part of sndrawmidiioctl() handler in rawmidi.c file. A malicious local attacker could possibly use this for privilege escalation.
A out-of-bounds write flaw was found in the xorg-x11-server. This issue occurs due to an incorrect calculation of a buffer offset when copying data stored in the heap in the XIChangeDeviceProperty function in Xi/xiproperty.c and in RRChangeOutputProperty function in randr/rrproperty.c, allowing for possible escalation of privileges or denial of service.
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the Go GPGME wrapper library, github.com/proglottis/gpgme. An attacker could use this flaw to crash or cause potential code execution in Go applications that use this library, under certain conditions, during GPG signature verification.

A use after free issue was found in the way Linux kernel's KVM hypervisor emulates a preemption timer for L2 guest when nested(=1) virtualization is enabled. This high resolution timer(hrtimer) runs when L2 guest is active. After VM exit, in syncvmcs12() timer object is stopped. The use-after-free occurs if the timer object is free'd before calling syncvmcs12() routine.
A guest user/process could use this flaw to crash the host kernel resulting in DoS OR potentially gain privileged access to a system.
It affects only Intel processors and only when nested virtualization is enabled.

A use after free issue was found in the way Linux kernel's KVM hypervisor implements its device control API. While creating a device via kvmioctlcreatedevice(), device holds a reference to a VM object, latter this reference is transferred to caller's file descriptor table. If such file descriptor was to be closed, reference count to the VM object could become zero, potentially leading to use-after-free issue latter.
A user/process could use this flaw to crash the guest VM resulting in DoS issue OR potentially gain privileged access to a system.

A race condition was found in modauthdigest when the web server was running in a threaded MPM configuration. It could allow a user with valid credentials to authenticate using another username, bypassing configured access control restrictions.
A possible memory corruption due to a type confusion was found in the Linux kernel in the skclonelock() function in the net/core/sock.c. A possibility of local escalation of privileges cannot be fully ruled out for a local unprivileged attacker.
