A flaw was found in modperl 2.0 through 2.0.10 which allows attackers to execute arbitrary Perl code by placing it in a user-owned .htaccess file, because (contrary to the documentation) there is no configuration option that permits Perl code for the administrator's control of HTTP request processing without also permitting unprivileged users to run Perl code in the context of the user account that runs Apache HTTP Server processes.

AssertionConsumerServiceURL is a Java implementation for SAML Service Providers (org.keycloak.protocol.saml). Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS).
AssertionConsumerServiceURL allows XSS when sending a crafted SAML XML request.
A flaw was found in GIMP's PSD file format plugin. This vulnerability, an unsigned integer underflow in the blockrem variable, occurs when a user opens a specially crafted .psd image file. The underflow leads to parser confusion, enabling an attacker to inject arbitrary data as layer resource blocks. This can ultimately result in arbitrary code execution, allowing the attacker to run malicious code on the victim's system.
A flaw was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind, where it would permit polymorphic deserialization of malicious objects using the ehcache and logback JNDI gadgets when used in conjunction with polymorphic type handling methods such as enableDefaultTyping() or when @JsonTypeInfo is using Id.CLASS or Id.MINIMALCLASS or in any other way which ObjectMapper.readValue might instantiate objects from unsafe sources. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code.
A vulnerability was found in ImageMagick. This issue can allow remote code execution in OpenBlob with --enable-pipes configured.
A deserialization flaw was discovered in the jackson-databind in versions before 2.8.10 and 2.9.1, which could allow an unauthenticated user to perform code execution by sending the maliciously crafted input to the readValue method of the ObjectMapper. This issue extends the previous flaw CVE-2017-7525 by blacklisting more classes that could be used maliciously.
A buffer-underflow vulnerability exists in GLib’s GVariant parser, specifically within bytestringparse() and stringparse(). The parser uses signed 32-bit integers (gint) as loop indices (i and j). When extremely large strings are parsed, these counters overflow into negative values, causing the parser to write to memory before the start of the allocated buffer (str[j++]). This results in a classic out-of-bounds write condition. Because GVariant parsing is often performed on attacker-influenced data, a remote attacker can trigger heap corruption, causing a crash or potentially achieving code execution. This flaw has been confirmed by maintainers and patched upstream.
A use-after-free vulnerability in SMIL animation functions occurs when pointers to animation elements in an array are dropped from the animation controller while still in use. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability occurs during transaction processing in the editor during design mode interactions. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability occurs during certain text input selection resulting in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability in frame selection triggered by a combination of malicious script content and key presses by a user. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability during XSLT processing due to the result handler being held by a freed handler during handling. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability during XSLT processing due to poor handling of template parameters. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability during XSLT processing due to a failure to propagate error conditions during matching while evaluating context, leading to objects being used when they no longer exist. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
During DOM manipulations of the accessibility tree through script, the DOM tree can become out of sync with the accessibility tree, leading to memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability when holding a selection during scroll events. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
A use-after-free vulnerability during changes in style when manipulating DOM elements. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability while decoding improperly formed BinHex format archives.
An out-of-bounds read when an HTTP/2 connection to a servers sends "DATA" frames with incorrect data content. This leads to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.1, Firefox ESR < 45.9, Firefox ESR < 52.1, and Firefox < 53.
Fixed potential buffer overflows in generated Firefox code due to CVE-2016-6354 issue in Flex.

A mechanism to bypass file system access protections in the sandbox using the file system request constructor through an IPC message. This allows for read and write access to the local file system.
A flaw was found in libarchive. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow vulnerability exists in the zisofs block pointer allocation logic. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted ISO9660 image, which can lead to a heap buffer overflow. This could potentially allow for arbitrary code execution on the affected system.
A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process.
An XML deserialization vulnerability was discovered in slf4j's EventData, which accepts an XML serialized string and can lead to arbitrary code execution.
A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system.
A flaw was found in Samba. A remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in Samba file servers and classic domain controllers that use the "check password script" feature. If this script is configured with the %u substitution character, the client-controlled username is passed without proper escaping of shell meta-characters. This vulnerability allows an attacker to achieve remote command execution on the affected system. This issue primarily affects non-standard configurations where the "check password script" is used with %u and the samba-dcerpcd service is started as a system service.
A use-after-free vulnerability with the frameloader during tree reconstruction while regenerating CSS layout when attempting to use a node in the tree that no longer exists. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.
Memory safety bugs were reported in Firefox 53 and Firefox ESR 52.1. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 54, Firefox ESR < 52.2, and Thunderbird < 52.2.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
curl before version 7.61.1 is vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the NTLM authentication code. The internal function Curlntlmcoremknthash multiplies the length of the password by two (SUM) to figure out how large temporary storage area to allocate from the heap. The length value is then subsequently used to iterate over the password and generate output into the allocated storage buffer. On systems with a 32 bit sizet, the math to calculate SUM triggers an integer overflow when the password length exceeds 2GB (2^31 bytes). This integer overflow usually causes a very small buffer to actually get allocated instead of the intended very huge one, making the use of that buffer end up in a heap buffer overflow. (This bug is almost identical to CVE-2017-8816.)
