If a user saved passwords before Thunderbird 60 and then later set a master password, an unencrypted copy of these passwords is still accessible. This is because the older stored password file was not deleted when the data was copied to a new format starting in Thunderbird 60. The new master password is added only on the new file. This could allow the exposure of stored password data outside of user expectations.

A flaw was found in ImageMagick 7.0.7-25 Q16. WriteEPTImage function in coders/ept.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (MagickCore/memory.c double free and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted file.
Reference: https://github.com/ImageMagick/ImageMagick/issues/1025
Patch: https://github.com/ImageMagick/ImageMagick/commit/6355db269e03f879c516cf9d592c72e157bc75d6
Apport does not properly handle crashes originating from a PID namespace allowing local users to create certain files as root which an attacker could leverage to perform a denial of service via resource exhaustion, possibly gain root privileges, or escape from containers. The issamens() function returns True when /proc/<global pid>/ does not exist in order to indicate that the crash should be handled in the global namespace rather than inside of a container. However, the portion of the data/apport code that decides whether or not to forward a crash to a container does not always replace sys.argv[1] with the value stored in the hostpid variable when /proc/<global pid>/ does not exist which results in the container pid being used in the global namespace. This flaw affects versions 2.20.8-0ubuntu4 through 2.20.9-0ubuntu7, 2.20.7-0ubuntu3.7, 2.20.7-0ubuntu3.8, 2.20.1-0ubuntu2.15 through 2.20.1-0ubuntu2.17, and 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.28.
ImageMagick 7.0.7-22 Q16 has memory leaks in the ReadDCMImage function in coders/dcm.c.
A use-after-free vulnerability can occur while enumerating attributes during SVG animations with clip paths. This results in a potentially exploitable crash.

json-c could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write. By persuading a victim to run a specially crafted file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
Apport reads and writes information on a crashed process to /proc/pid with elevated privileges. Apport then determines which user the crashed process belongs to by reading /proc/pid through getpidinfo() in data/apport. An unprivileged user could exploit this to read information about a privileged running process by exploiting PID recycling. This information could then be used to obtain ASLR offsets for a process with an existing memory corruption vulnerability. The initial fix introduced regressions in the Python Apport library due to a missing argument in Report.addprocenviron in apport/report.py. It also caused an autopkgtest failure when reading /proc/pid and with Python 2 compatibility by reading /proc maps. The initial and subsequent regression fixes are in 2.20.11-0ubuntu16, 2.20.11-0ubuntu8.6, 2.20.9-0ubuntu7.12, 2.20.1-0ubuntu2.22 and 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.29+esm3.

Apport 2.13 through 2.20.7 does not properly handle crashes originating from a PID namespace allowing local users to create certain files as root which an attacker could leverage to perform a denial of service via resource exhaustion or possibly gain root privileges, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-14179.
A flaw was found in the way xserver memory was not properly initialized. This could leak parts of server memory to the X client. In cases where Xorg server runs with elevated privileges, this could result in possible ASLR bypass. Xorg-server before version 1.20.9 is vulnerable.
A flaw was found in the way haproxy processed certain HTTP/2 request packets. An attacker could send crafted HTTP/2 request packets which cause memory corruption, leading to a crash or potential remote arbitrary code execution with the permissions of the user running haproxy.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernels eBPF verification code. By default accessing the eBPF verifier is only accessible to privileged users with CAPSYSADMIN. A local user with the ability to insert eBPF instructions can use the eBPF verifier to abuse a spectre like flaw where they can infer all system memory.
ImageMagick 7.0.1-0 to 7.0.8-54 Q16 allows Division by Zero in RemoveDuplicateLayers in MagickCore/layer.c.

An issue was discovered in buttonopen in login/logind-button.c in systemd before 243. When executing the udevadm trigger command, a memory leak may occur.
A buffer overflow vulnerability in the dhcp6 client of systemd allows a malicious dhcp6 server to overwrite heap memory in systemd-networkd. Affected releases are systemd: versions up to and including 239.
A vulnerability in unitdeserialize of systemd allows an attacker to supply arbitrary state across systemd re-execution via NotifyAccess. This can be used to improperly influence systemd execution and possibly lead to root privilege escalation. Affected releases are systemd versions up to and including 239.
A race condition in chownone() of systemd allows an attacker to cause systemd to set arbitrary permissions on arbitrary files. Affected releases are systemd versions up to and including 239.
A flaw was found in systemd-journald. A stack buffer overflow when passing several MB of arguments to a program calling syslog function. This can lead to a denial of service attack or arbitrary code execution in some cases.
A flaw was found in systemd-journald. An uncontrolled alloca() by writing a crafted message to /run/systemd/journal/socket that results in a stack buffer overflow. This can lead to a denial of service attack or arbitrary code execution in some cases.
A flaw was found in systemd-journald. An out-of-bounds read when parsing a crafted syslog message that could lead to information disclosure.
A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability.
An exploitable code execution vulnerability exists in the quota file functionality of E2fsprogs 1.45.3. A specially crafted ext4 partition can cause an out-of-bounds write on the heap, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability.
