Canonical cloud-init could allow a local authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the storage of sensitive data in the log files. By gaining access to the log files, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain hashed passwords information, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
it was discovered that libclamunrar incorrectly handled directories when extracting RAR archives. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to overwrite arbitrary files and execute arbitrary code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 23.04. (CVE-2022-30333) It was discovered that libclamunrar incorrectly validated certain structures when extracting RAR archives. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code. It was discovered that LibRaw incorrectly handled photo files. If a user or automated system were tricked into processing a specially crafted photo file, a remote attacker could cause applications linked against LibRaw to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.
Multiple security issues were discovered in MySQL and this update includes new upstream MySQL versions to fix these issues.
