See how appointment booking calendar compares to other vendors in security performance
The Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 1.4.01. This is due to insufficient authorization and missing per-calendar ownership checks in the cpabcappointmentscalendarload2() function, which is reachable via the cpabccalendarload2=1 query parameter in wp-admin and only checks isadmin() && currentusercan('editposts'), a capability available to Contributor-level users and above. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to supply an arbitrary calendar ID via the id parameter and extract customer booking information, including email addresses, names, phone numbers, booking times, and comments, from any calendar managed by the plugin.
The Appointment Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.96. This is due to the plugin exposing an unauthenticated booking processing endpoint (cpabcappointmentscheckIPNverification) that trusts attacker-supplied payment notifications without verifying their origin, authenticity, or requiring proper authorization checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to arbitrarily confirm bookings and insert them into the live calendar via the 'cpabcipncheck' parameter, triggering administrative and customer notification emails and disrupting operations.
The Appointment Booking Calendar Plugin and Scheduling Plugin WordPress plugin before 1.1.23 export settings functionality exports data to a public folder, with an easily guessable file name, allowing unauthenticated attackers to access the exported files (if they exist).
