Aureus ERP before 1.5.0 fails to scope message lookups to the current record in ChatterPanel, allowing authenticated users to access arbitrary messages. Attackers can submit sequential message IDs to read, edit, delete, or pin messages from other departments or companies, and enumerate all notes in the system.

Aureus ERP through 1.6.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read unpublished draft blog posts via the customer-facing post view page. Attackers who know or guess a post slug can retrieve the full title, content, image, tags, author and publish date because PostResource skips authorization and ViewPost ignores ispublished.

A vulnerability was determined in Aureus ERP up to 1.3.0-BETA1. The affected element is an unknown function of the file plugins/webkul/chatter/resources/views/filament/infolists/components/messages/content-text-entry.blade.php of the component Chatter Message Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument subject/body can lead to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 1.3.0-BETA1 is sufficient to fix this issue. This patch is called 2135ee7efff4090e70050b63015ab5e268760ec8. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.

Aureus ERP through 1.6.0, fixed in commit 53ad76d, stores uploaded SVG files on its public disk and serves them from the application origin, allowing authenticated users to upload malicious SVG files containing JavaScript. Attackers can craft SVG files with script elements that execute in the application's origin when the file URL is opened directly, enabling session cookie theft and CSRF token exfiltration.
