See how custom twitter feeds compares to other vendors in security performance
The Custom Twitter Feeds – A Tweets Widget or X Feed Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ctfautosavetokens function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the site's twitter API token and secret via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Custom Twitter Feeds WordPress plugin before 2.2.3 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfilteredhtml capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup).
