TL;DR: We identified 36,872 internet-exposed BMCs, and 24,650 of them disclosed password-derived authentication hashes before login because of CVE-2013-4786. More than 30% of the returned hashes were linked to passwords that could be recovered using common wordlists or predictable factory password formats. The exposure affected modern Supermicro and HPE servers, including systems operated by GPU providers. The bigger risk is that a compromised BMC gives an attacker highly privileged access below the operating system. Because BMC management networks are often poorly segmented and lightly monitored, one exposed interface can become a foothold into broader data center infrastructure. We also created an interactive map where you can explore the exposed systems: https://lavahq.io/bmcradar

A vulnerability has been identified in the port ACL functionality of AOS-CX software running on the HPE Aruba Networking CX 9300 Switch Series only and affects:

- AOS-CX 10.14.xxxx : All patches - AOS-CX 10.15.xxxx : 10.15.1000 and below The vulnerability is specific to traffic originated by the CX 9300 switch platform and could allow an attacker to bypass ACL rules applied to routed ports on egress. As a result, port ACLs are not correctly enforced, which could lead to unauthorized traffic flow and violations of security policies. Egress VLAN ACLs and Routed VLAN ACLs are not affected by this vulnerability.

ntpd can be vulnerable to Sybil attacks. If a system is set up to use a trustedkey and if one is not using the feature introduced in ntp-4.2.8p6 allowing an optional 4th field in the ntp.keys file to specify which IPs can serve time, a malicious authenticated peer -- i.e. one where the attacker knows the private symmetric key -- can create arbitrarily-many ephemeral associations in order to win the clock selection of ntpd and modify a victim's clock.

Ps.: This is possibly a incomplete fix for CVE-2016-1549.
