The REST API component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO JasperReports Server, TIBCO JasperReports Server Community Edition, TIBCO JasperReports Server for ActiveMatrix BPM, TIBCO Jaspersoft for AWS with Multi-Tenancy, and TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting and Analytics for AWS contains a vulnerability that theoretically allows unauthenticated users to bypass authorization checks for portions of the HTTP interface to the JasperReports Server. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO JasperReports Server: 6.4.0; 6.4.1; 6.4.2; 6.4.3; 7.1.0, TIBCO JasperReports Server Community Edition: versions up to and including 7.1.0, TIBCO JasperReports Server for ActiveMatrix BPM: versions up to and including 6.4.3, TIBCO Jaspersoft for AWS with Multi-Tenancy: versions up to and including 7.1.0, and TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting and Analytics for AWS: versions up to and including 7.1.0.
A Java deserialisation vulnerability has been discovered in Jaspersoft Library. Improper handling of externally supplied data may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely on systems that use the affected library
Java Deserialisation Vulnerability in Jaspersoft Reports Library leads to Remote Code Execution (RCE), potentially allowing code execution on the affected system
Vulnerability in Jaspersoft JasperReport Servers. This issue affects JasperReport Servers: from 8.0.4 through 9.0.0.
Jaspersoft JasperReports 4.7 suffers from a saved credential disclosure vulnerability, which allows a remote authenticated user to retrieve stored Data Source passwords by accessing flow.html and reading the HTML source code of the page reached in an Edit action for a Data Source connector.
This vulnerability allows the decryption of the passwords on vulnerable installations of Jaspersoft JasperReports Server. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within encryption of user passwords in the DiagnosticDataCipherer class. A hard-coded cryptographic key is used which can allow the reversal of the encryption process. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to bypass authentication on the system.
