XSS

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple shortcodes in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user (typically an administrator) accesses a page displaying dynamic user data (such as via the Dynamic Data feature pulling user biographical information).

Path Traversal
AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the maybedeletefiles function in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The attack requires a published Avada form configured to save entries to the database; an unauthenticated attacker submits a path-traversal payload via the wpajaxnoprivfusionformsubmitajax handler while also controlling the fusionprivacyexpirationinterval and privacyexpirationaction fields to force an immediate 'delete' cleanup, causing the planted entry to be automatically processed by the FusionFormDBPrivacy shutdown-hook routine without any administrator interaction.

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'fusionmap' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N

The Avada Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘productorder’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Note: The vulnerability can only be exploited if WooCommerce was previously used and then deactivated.

The Avada Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.2 via the 'fusiongetsvgfromfile' function with the 'customsvg' parameter of the 'fusionsectionseparator' shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 3.15.2 and fully patched in version 3.15.3.

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary WordPress Action Execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.1. This is due to the plugin's outputactionhook() function accepting user-controlled input to trigger any registered WordPress action hook without proper authorization checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary WordPress action hooks via the Dynamic Data feature, potentially leading to privilege escalation, file inclusion, denial of service, or other security impacts depending on which action hooks are available in the WordPress installation.

The Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.15.1. This is due to the plugin's fusiongetpostcustomfield() function failing to validate whether metadata keys are protected (underscore-prefixed). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to extract protected post metadata fields that should not be publicly accessible via the Dynamic Data feature's postcustomfield parameter.
