An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.15.15, 6.x before 6.2.9, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.1. When a SVG file with an image inside it is rendered, a QTextLayout buffer overflow can be triggered.
CVE-2023-38197 An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.15.15, 6.x before 6.2.10, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.3. There are infinite loops in recursive entity expansion. CVE-2023-37369 In Qt before 5.15.15, 6.x before 6.2.9, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.2, there can be an application crash in QXmlStreamReader via a crafted XML string that triggers a situation in which a prefix is greater than a length.
In Qt 6.5.4, 6.5.5, and 6.6.2, QNetworkReply header data might be accessed via a dangling pointer in Qt for WebAssembly (wasm). (Earlier and later versions are unaffected.)
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the QML QtScript Reflect API of Qt Project Qt 6.3.2. A specially-crafted javascript code can trigger an out-of-bounds memory access, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. Target application would need to access a malicious web page to trigger this vulnerability.
An issue was discovered in the HTTP2 implementation in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.11, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.4, and 6.6.x before 6.6.2. network/access/http2/hpacktable.cpp has an incorrect HPack integer overflow check.
An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.15.14, 6.x before 6.2.9, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.1. Qt Network incorrectly parses the strict-transport-security (HSTS) header, allowing unencrypted connections to be established, even when explicitly prohibited by the server. This happens if the case used for this header does not exactly match.
An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the QML QtScript Reflect API of Qt Project Qt 6.3.2. A specially-crafted javascript code can trigger an integer overflow during memory allocation, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. Target application would need to access a malicious web page to trigger this vulnerability.
A possible QBpmHandler segmentation fault on malformed BMP file. A crafted filed could cause the application to crash.

A possible QImage allocation failure was found in qgifhandler. A crafted file could cause the application to crash.

An issue was discovered in HTTP2 in Qt before 5.15.18, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.7, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.3. Code to make security-relevant decisions about an established connection may execute too early, because the encrypted() signal has not yet been emitted and processed..

An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.15.16, 6.x before 6.2.10, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.3 on Windows. When using the GDI font engine, if a corrupted font is loaded via QFontDatabase::addApplicationFont{FromData], then it can cause the application to crash because of missing length checks.
An information disclosure flaw was found in the way XMLHttpRequest object implementation in Qt, a software toolkit for developing applications, performed management of certain HTTP responses. Previous implementation allowed redirection from HTTP protocol to file schemas. Also the redirection handling was performed automatically by QML application and could not be disabled. A remote attacker could use this flaw to cause QML application in an unauthorized way to read local file content by causing the HTTP response for the application to be a redirect to a file: URL (file scheme).

The named pipes in qtsingleapp in Qt 5.x, as used in qBittorrent and SugarSync, are configured for remote access and allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via an unspecified string.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the BMP image format parser for the QT library (qt3) before 3.3.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code.
The GIF parser in the QT library (qt3) before 3.3.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a malformed image file that triggers a null dereference, a different vulnerability than CVE-2004-0692.
The XPM parser in the QT library (qt3) before 3.3.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a malformed image file that triggers a null dereference, a different vulnerability than CVE-2004-0693.
Qt before 3.3.4 searches the BUILDPREFIX directory, which could be world-writable, to load shared libraries regardless of the LDLIBRARYPATH environment variable, which allows local users to execute arbitrary programs.
Dirk Mueller reported an off by one buffer overflow flaw in the way QT parses certain unicode strings.
To quote Dirk:
Ive found a off-by-one buffer overflow in QUtf8Decoder::toUnicode(). It is not exploitable with Qt 4.x or above because there is an additional QChar(0) being allocated in QString, however it is still a bug there, as the array returned by utf16() etc is no longer terminated properly.
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in (1) qtextedit.cpp, (2) qdatatable.cpp, (3) qsqldatabase.cpp, (4) qsqlindex.cpp, (5) qsqlrecord.cpp, (6) qglobal.cpp, and (7) qsvgdevice.cpp in QTextEdit in Trolltech Qt 3 before 3.3.8 20070727 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in text used to compose an error message.
src/network/ssl/qsslcertificate.cpp in Nokia Trolltech Qt 4.x does not properly handle a '\0' character in a domain name in the Subject Alternative Name field of an X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority, a related issue to CVE-2009-2408.
The QSslSocketBackendPrivate::transmit function in srcnetworksslqsslsocketopenssl.cpp in Qt 4.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a malformed request.
Buffer overflow in the TIFF reader in gui/image/qtiffhandler.cpp in Qt 4.7.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via the TIFFTAGSAMPLESPERPIXEL tag in a greyscale TIFF image with multiple samples per pixel.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the LookupMarkMarkPos function in the HarfBuzz module (harfbuzz-gpos.c), as used by Qt before 4.7.4 and Pango, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted font file.
A security flaw was found in the way QSslSocket implementation of the Qt, a software toolkit for applications development, performed certificate verification callbacks, when Qt libraries were used with different OpenSSL version than the one, they were compiled against. In such scenario, this would result in a connection error, but with the SSL error list to contain QSslError:NoError instead of proper reason of the error. This might result in a confusing error being presented to the end users, possibly encouraging them to ignore the SSL errors for the site the connection was initiated against.

QXmlSimpleReader in Qt before 5.2 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via an XML Entity Expansion (XEE) attack.
SQL injection vulnerability in Quassel IRC before 0.9.1, when Qt 4.8.5 or later and PostgreSQL 8.2 or later are used, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a \ (backslash) in a message.
