BWA (aka Burrow-Wheeler Aligner) before 2019-01-23 has a stack-based buffer overflow in the bnsrestore function in bntseq.c via a long sequence name in a .alt file.
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in the Linux kernel, all versions 3.x.x and 4.x.x before 4.18.0, in Marvell WiFi chip driver. The flaw could occur when the station attempts a connection negotiation during the handling of the remote devices country settings. This could allow the remote device to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
Exim 4.92 through 4.92.2 allows remote code execution, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-15846. There is a heap-based buffer overflow in stringvformat in string.c involving a long EHLO command.
A flaw in the Linux kernel's WiFi beacon validation code was discovered. The code does not check the length of the variable length elements in the beacon head potentially leading to a buffer overflow. System availability, as well as data confidentiality and integrity, can be impacted by this vulnerability.
A security regression for CVE-2019-9636 was discovered in python's functions urllib.parse.urlsplit and urllib.parse.urlparse, introduced with commit d537ab0ff9767ef024f26246899728f0116b1ec3. No upstream python version is affected by this regression but the vulnerable commit may already have been included downstream as part of the original fix for CVE-2019-9636.
Affected python versions ignore the user/password part before @ in the netloc component of a URL, thus it still allows an attacker to exploit the vulnerability as in CVE-2019-9636. Those functions do not properly handle URLs encoded with Punycode/Internationalizing Domain Names in Applications (IDNA), which may result in a wrong domain name (specifically the netloc component of URL - user@domain:port) being returned by those functions. When an application parses user-supplied URLs to store cookies, authentication credentials, or other kind of information, it is possible for an attacker to provide specially crafted URLs to make the application locate host-related information (e.g. cookies, authentication data) and send them to a different host than where it should, unlike if the URLs had been correctly parsed. The result of an attack may vary based on the application.

A vulnerability was found in Python 2.7.x through 2.7.16 and 3.x through 3.7.2. An improper Handling of Unicode Encoding (with an incorrect netloc) during NFKC normalization could lead to an Information Disclosure (credentials, cookies, etc. that are cached against a given hostname) in the urllib.parse.urlsplit, urllib.parse.urlparse components. A specially crafted URL could be incorrectly parsed to locate cookies or authentication data and send that information to a different host than when parsed correctly.

An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.9. URN response handling in Squid suffers from a heap-based buffer overflow. When receiving data from a remote server in response to an URN request, Squid fails to ensure that the response can fit within the buffer. This leads to attacker controlled data overflowing in the heap.

A vulnerability was found in LibreOffice prior to 6.2.6. LibreOffice is typically bundled with LibreLogo, a programmable turtle vector graphics script, which can execute arbitrary python commands contained with the document it is launched from. LibreOffice also has a feature where documents can specify that pre-installed scripts can be executed on various document script events such as mouse-over, etc. Protection was added, to address CVE-2019-9848, to block calling LibreLogo from script event handers. However an insufficient url validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed malicious to bypass that protection and again trigger calling LibreLogo from script event handlers.

An issue was discovered in Squid 3.3.9 through 3.5.28 and 4.x through 4.7. When Squid is configured to use Digest authentication, it parses the header Proxy-Authorization. It searches for certain tokens such as domain, uri, and qop. Squid checks if this token's value starts with a quote and ends with one. If so, it performs a memcpy of its length minus 2. Squid never checks whether the value is just a single quote (which would satisfy its requirements), leading to a memcpy of its length minus 1.

A vulnerability was found in FreeRadius. An attacker can reflect the received scalar and element from the server in it's own commit message, and subsequently reflect the confirm value as well. This causes the adversary to successfully authenticate as the victim. Fortunately, the adversary will not posses the negotiated session key, meaning the adversary cannot actually perform any actions as this user.
A vulnerability was found in FreeRadius. An invalid curve attack allows an attacker to authenticate as any user (without knowing the password). The problem is that on the reception of an EAP-PWD Commit frame, FreeRADIUS doesn't verify whether the received elliptic curve point is valid.

eap.c in pppd in ppp 2.4.2 through 2.4.8 has an rhostname buffer overflow in the eaprequest and eapresponse functions.
An issue was discovered in amqphandleinput in amqpconnection.c in rabbitmq-c 0.9.0. There is an integer overflow that leads to heap memory corruption in the handling of CONNECTIONSTATEHEADER. A rogue server could return a malicious frame header that leads to a smaller targetsize value than needed. This condition is then carried on to a memcpy function that copies too much data into a heap buffer.
A vulnerability was found in technisatusb2getir in drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/technisat-usb2.c in DVB USB subsystem, there was an out-of-bounds read for an array in struct technisatusb2state state->buf with no boundary check applied until 0xff byte is encountered, if it is not found with in the limits it goes beyond the array size, this exposes kernel data structure which should not happen.
