A flaw was found in all versions of ghostscript 9.x before 9.50, where the .charkeys procedure, where it did not properly secure its privileged calls, enabling scripts to bypass -dSAFER restrictions. An attacker could abuse this flaw by creating a specially crafted PostScript file that could escalate privileges within the Ghostscript and access files outside of restricted areas or execute commands.

As announced by Go upstream on 2019-09-25: net/http (through net/textproto) used to accept and normalize invalid HTTP/1.1 headers with a space before the colon, in violation of RFC 7230. If a Go server is used behind an uncommon reverse proxy that accepts and forwards but doesn't normalize such invalid headers, the reverse proxy and the server can interpret the headers differently. This can lead to filter bypasses or request smuggling, the latter if requests from separate clients are multiplexed onto the same upstream connection by the proxy. Such invalid headers are now rejected by Go servers, and passed without normalization to Go client applications

A flaw was found in the XFS file system in the Linux kernel. An acquired ILOCK was not freed/unlock when the call to xfsqmvopchownreserve fails and the lock is still held and can lead to denial to access for that device. This is primarily a local denial of service but could result in a remote denial of service if the XFS file system is exported as an NFS file system.
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's Marvell WiFi chip driver. Where, while parsing vendor-specific informational attributes, an attacker on the same WiFi physical network segment could cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code. This flaw affects the network interface at the most basic level meaning the attacker only needs to affiliate with the same network device as the vulnerable system to create an attack path.
A vulnerability was found in LibreOffice prior to 6.2.6. LibreOffice has a feature where documents can specify that pre-installed macros can be executed on various script events such as mouse-over, document-open etc. Access is intended to be restricted to scripts under the share/Scripts/python, user/Scripts/python sub-directories of the LibreOffice install. Protection was added, to address CVE-2018-16858, to avoid a directory traversal attack where scripts in arbitrary locations on the file system could be executed. However this new protection could be bypassed by a URL encoding attack. In the fixed versions, the parsed url describing the script location is correctly encoded before further processing.

Depending on how efficiently this data is queued, this queue can consume excess CPU, memory, or both, leading to a denial of service. A vulnerability was found in http/2 where an attacker opens the HTTP/2 window so the peer can send without constraint; however, they leave the TCP window closed so the peer cannot actually write (many of) the bytes on the wire. The attacker then sends a stream of requests for a large response object. Depending on how the servers queue the responses, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both, potentially leading to a denial of service.

A flaw in the kernels implementation of ptrace which could inadvertantly grant elevated permissions to an attacker who could abuse the relationship between tracer and the process being traced.
The mechanism used to link the process requesting the ptrace and the process being ptraced could allow a local user to obtain root level priviledges by creating an opportunity to abuse the frequently used pattern of dropping privileges and then execve a child with reduced privileges/permissions.

An issue was discovered in Squid 4.0.23 through 4.7. When checking Basic Authentication with HttpHeader::getAuth, Squid uses a global buffer to store the decoded data. Squid does not check that the decoded length isn't greater than the buffer, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow with user controlled data.
