A flaw was found in KVM. With shadow paging enabled if INVPCID is executed with CR0.PG=0, the invlpg callback is not set, and the result is a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw allows a guest user to cause a kernel oops condition on the host, resulting in a denial of service.
A re-encrypt Route with destinationCACertificate explicitly set to the default serviceCA seems to skip internal Service TLS certificate validation, errorless serving content even if target Service certificate and certificate provided by target Pod(s) differ. Note that if we don't set destinationCACertificate in the Route yaml manifest (the Route will still implicitly use the same default serviceCA certificate, as described on the doc [1]) we will correctly get a error page.

A Malformed Lua script can crash Redis
A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in Libtiffs' tiffinfo.c in TIFFReadRawDataStriped() function. This flaw allows an attacker to pass a crafted TIFF file to the tiffinfo tool, triggering a heap buffer overflow issue and causing a crash that leads to a denial of service.
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Amateur Radio AX.25 protocol functionality in the way a user connects with the protocol. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
A bug was found in Moby (Docker Engine) where containers were incorrectly started with non-empty inheritable Linux process capabilities, creating an atypical Linux environment and enabling programs with inheritable file capabilities to elevate those capabilities to the permitted set during execve(2). Normally, when executable programs have specified permitted file capabilities, otherwise unprivileged users and processes can execute those programs and gain the specified file capabilities up to the bounding set. Due to this bug, containers which included executable programs with inheritable file capabilities allowed otherwise unprivileged users and processes to additionally gain these inheritable file capabilities up to the container's bounding set. Containers which use Linux users and groups to perform privilege separation inside the container are most directly impacted.
This bug did not affect the container security sandbox as the inheritable set never contained more capabilities than were included in the container's bounding set.
Patches This bug has been fixed in Moby (Docker Engine) 20.10.14. Users should update to this version as soon as possible. Running containers should be stopped, deleted, and recreated for the inheritable capabilities to be reset.
This fix changes Moby (Docker Engine) behavior such that containers are started with a more typical Linux environment. Refer to capabilities(7) for a description of how capabilities work. Note that permitted file capabilities continue to allow for privileges to be raised up to the container's bounding set and that processes may add capabilities to their own inheritable set up to the container's bounding set per the rules described in the manual page. In all cases the container's bounding set provides an upper bound on the capabilities that can be assumed and provides for the container security sandbox.
Workarounds The entrypoint of a container can be modified to use a utility like capsh(1) to drop inheritable capabilities prior to the primary process starting.
In Paramiko before 2.10.1, a race condition (between creation and chmod) in the writeprivatekeyfile function could allow unauthorized information disclosure.
A cache poisoning vulnerability was found in BIND when using forwarders. Bogus NS records supplied by the forwarders may be cached and used by name if it needs to recurse for any reason. This issue causes it to obtain and pass on potentially incorrect answers. This flaw allows a remote high privileged attacker to manipulate cache results with incorrect records, leading to queries made to the wrong servers, possibly resulting in false information received on the client's end.
A flaw was found in Bind that incorrectly handles certain crafted TCP streams. The vulnerability allows TCP connection slots to be consumed for an indefinite time frame via a specifically crafted TCP stream sent from a client. This flaw allows a remote attacker to send specially crafted TCP streams with 'keep-response-order' enabled that could cause connections to BIND to remain in CLOSEWAIT status for an indefinite period, even after the client has terminated the connection. This issue results in BIND consuming resources, leading to a denial of service.
Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting parameter &tab discovered in Contact Form X WordPress plugin (versions <= 2.4).
.NET and Visual Studio Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
A flaw was found in expat. A stack exhaustion in doctype parsing could be triggered by a file with a large number of opening braces, resulting in a denial of service.
An IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) vulnerability was found on Grafana Teams APIs. This flaw impacts the /teams/:teamId, /teams/:search, /teams/:teamId/members API endpoints and may allow an authenticated attacker to view unintended data by querying for the specific team ID or search for teams and see the total number of available teams (including for those teams where the user does not have access to).

A Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was found in the way Grafana handles data sources. This flaw allows an attacker to serve HTML content through the Grafana data source or plugin proxy and trick a user to visit this HTML page using a specially crafted link and execute a Cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. Should an existing data source connected to Grafana be compromised, it could be used to inappropriately gain access to other data sources connected to the same Grafana org.
A flaw was found in the way the Hotspot component of OpenJDK processed classes with fields that needed to be written to in Rewriter::scanmethod(). A specially-crafted Java class file could use this flaw to crash Java virtual machine.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
A flaw was found in the Pattern class implementation in the Libraries component of OpenJDK. A specially crated input could cause the Pattern class to raise an unexpected exception while performing regular expression matching, possibly causing a Java application using the class to misbehave.
After the initial setup process, some steps of setup.php file are reachable not only by super-administrators, but by unauthenticated users as well. Malicious actor can pass step checks and potentially change the configuration of Zabbix Frontend.
Lua v5.4.3 and above are affected by SEGV by type confusion in funcnamefromcode function in ldebug.c which can cause a local denial of service.
GDAL 3.3.0 through 3.4.0 has a heap-based buffer overflow in PCIDSK::CPCIDSKFile::ReadFromFile (called from PCIDSK::CPCIDSKSegment::ReadFromFile and PCIDSK::CPCIDSKBinarySegment::CPCIDSKBinarySegment).

A flaw was found in systemd. An uncontrolled recursion in systemd-tmpfiles may lead to a denial of service at boot time when too many nested directories are created in /tmp.
In the Linux kernel through 5.15.2, hwatlutilsfwrpcwait in drivers/net/ethernet/aquantia/atlantic/hwatl/hwatlutils.c allows an attacker (who can introduce a crafted device) to trigger an out-of-bounds write via a crafted length value.
In the OCI Distribution Specification version 1.0.0 and prior and in the OCI Image Specification version 1.0.1 and prior, manifest and index documents are ambiguous without an accompanying Content-Type HTTP header. Versions of Moby (Docker Engine) prior to 20.10.11 treat the Content-Type header as trusted and deserialize the document according to that header. If the Content-Type header changed between pulls of the same ambiguous document (with the same digest), the document may be interpreted differently, meaning that the digest alone is insufficient to unambiguously identify the content of the image.

Impact Accepting the value of various Text options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. For example, initializing the datepicker in the following way: js $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker( { showButtonPanel: true, showOn: "both", closeText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'closeText XSS' )</script>", currentText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'currentText XSS' )</script>", prevText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'prevText XSS' )</script>", nextText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'nextText XSS' )</script>", buttonText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'buttonText XSS' )</script>", appendText: "<script>doEvilThing( 'appendText XSS' )</script>", } ); will call doEvilThing with 6 different parameters coming from all Text options.
Patches The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various Text options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML.
Workarounds A workaround is to not accept the value of the Text options from untrusted sources.
