Jetty is a java based web server and servlet engine. Nonstandard cookie parsing in Jetty may allow an attacker to smuggle cookies within other cookies, or otherwise perform unintended behavior by tampering with the cookie parsing mechanism. If Jetty sees a cookie VALUE that starts with " (double quote), it will continue to read the cookie string until it sees a closing quote -- even if a semicolon is encountered. So, a cookie header such as: DISPLAYLANGUAGE="b; JSESSIONID=1337; c=d" will be parsed as one cookie, with the name DISPLAYLANGUAGE and a value of b; JSESSIONID=1337; c=d instead of 3 separate cookies. This has security implications because if, say, JSESSIONID is an HttpOnly cookie, and the DISPLAYLANGUAGE cookie value is rendered on the page, an attacker can smuggle the JSESSIONID cookie into the DISPLAYLANGUAGE cookie and thereby exfiltrate it. This is significant when an intermediary is enacting some policy based on cookies, so a smuggled cookie can bypass that policy yet still be seen by the Jetty server or its logging system. This issue has been addressed in versions 9.4.51, 10.0.14, 11.0.14, and 12.0.0.beta0 and users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, high integrity impact, and no availability impact.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the 2D component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: Libraries). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 7u321, 8u311, 11.0.13; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 20.3.4 and 21.3.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability can also be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L).
An integer overflow flaw was found in the fix applied to the BMPImageReader class implementation in the ImageIO component of OpenJDK to address the CVE-2021-35586 (bug 2015308) issue. This issue could allow a specially-crafted BMP image to bypass previously applied protection and cause a Java application to allocate an excessive amount of memory when opened.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Serialization component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, low integrity impact, and no availability impact.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Deployment component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to take control of the system.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, low integrity impact, and no availability impact.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Oracle Java Runtime Environment. Interaction with the JavaFX library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the rendering of HTML in JavaFX. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated data structure. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, high integrity impact, and no availability impact.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Deployment component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause low confidentiality impact, low integrity impact, and no availability impact.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Networking component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.

A NULL pointer dereference flaw was discovered in the DrawGlyphList class in the 2D component in OpenJDK. A specially crafted font file could use this flaw to cause a Java application to crash.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the JAXP component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Concurrency component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
Apache ActiveMQ is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper input validation. By sending a specially-crafted MQTT frame, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service condition.
Eclipse Jetty is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by improper handling of Chunked Transfer-Encoding chunk size. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks.
Eclipse Jetty could allow a remote attacker to hijack a user's session, caused by a flaw in the FileSessionDataStore. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain access to another user's session.
Eclipse Jetty is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by a flaw when handling more than one Content-Length headers. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks.

It was discovered that key store implementations in the Security component of OpenJDK did not use sufficient number of iterations when generating password-based encryption keys used to protect private keys in key stores. This made it easier to perform password guessing attacks to decrypt stored keys if an attacker could gain access to a key store.
An unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE related to the Java SE, Java SE Embedded, JRockit Networking component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
It was found that the HttpURLConnection and HttpsURLConnection classes implementations in the Networking component of OpenJDK failed to check for newline characters embedded in URLs. An attacker able to make a Java application to perform an HTTP request to an attacker provided URL could possibly inject additional headers into the request.
