Vulnerability in the Oracle Retail Integration Bus product of Oracle Retail Applications (component: RIB Kernal). The supported version that is affected is 16.0.3. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Retail Integration Bus. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Retail Integration Bus. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).

Code Injection
AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H

A Spring MVC or Spring WebFlux application running on JDK 9+ may be vulnerable to remote code execution (RCE) via data binding. The specific exploit requires the application to run on Tomcat as a WAR deployment. If the application is deployed as a Spring Boot executable jar, i.e. the default, it is not vulnerable to the exploit. However, the nature of the vulnerability is more general, and there may be other ways to exploit it.

A flaw was found in the Apache Log4j logging library 2.x. when the logging configuration uses a non-default Pattern Layout with a Context Lookup. Attackers with control over Thread Context Map (MDC) input data can craft malicious input data that contains a recursive lookup and can cause Denial of Service.

Vulnerability in the Advanced Networking Option component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected are 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1 and 19c. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Advanced Networking Option. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Advanced Networking Option, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Advanced Networking Option. Note: The July 2021 Critical Patch Update introduces a number of Native Network Encryption changes to deal with vulnerability CVE-2021-2351 and prevent the use of weaker ciphers. Customers should review: "Changes in Native Network Encryption with the July 2021 Critical Patch Update" (Doc ID 2791571.1). A flaw was found in springframework in versions prior to 5.0.16, 5.1.13, and 5.2.3. A reflected file download (RFD) attack is possible when a "Content-Disposition" header is set in response to where the filename attribute is derived from user supplied input. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.

In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.15 and versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.7, a WebFlux application is vulnerable to a privilege escalation: by (re)creating the temporary storage directory, a locally authenticated malicious user can read or modify files that have been uploaded to the WebFlux application, or overwrite arbitrary files with multipart request data.

Pivotal Spring Framework is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper handling of range request by the ResourceHttpRequestHandler. By adding a range header with a high number of ranges, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service condition.

AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N

All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element.

A flaw was found in the Apache Xerces Java (XercesJ) XML parser when handling specially crafted XML document payloads. This issue causes the XercesJ XML parser to wait in an infinite loop, which may consume system resources for a prolonged duration, leading to a denial of service condition.

CSRF
CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N

Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.3 are vulnerable to CSRF attacks through CORS preflight requests that target Spring MVC (spring-webmvc module) or Spring WebFlux (spring-webflux module) endpoints. Only non-authenticated endpoints are vulnerable because preflight requests should not include credentials and therefore requests should fail authentication. However a notable exception to this are Chrome based browsers when using client certificates for authentication since Chrome sends TLS client certificates in CORS preflight requests in violation of spec requirements. No HTTP body can be sent or received as a result of this attack.

Path Traversal, Input Validation
AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N

In Apache Commons IO before 2.7, When invoking the method FileNameUtils.normalize with an improper input string, like "//../foo", or "\\..\foo", the result would be the same value, thus possibly providing access to files in the parent directory, but not further above (thus "limited" path traversal), if the calling code would use the result to construct a path value.
