A heap overflow vulnerability was found in openslp, that may result in remote code execution.
A Spectre gadget was found in the Linux kernel's implementation of system interrupts. An attacker with local access could use this information to reveal private data through a Spectre like side channel.

A flaw was found in computer hardware of the Intel microprocessors related to the instruction-side TLB (Translation Lookaside Buffer) that caches translations from guest (and host) virtual addresses into physical addresses.
This is a software fix that attempts to prevent exploitation of the hardware through preventing a hacker from creating an exploitable condition

A vulnerability was found in popd. It can be tricked to free a user supplied address in the following way:
$ popd +-111111
This could be used to bypass restricted shells (rsh) on some environments to cause use-after-free.

A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06. Setparamprefix() in the menu rendering code performs a length calculation on the assumption that expressing a quoted single quote will require 3 characters while it actually requires 4 characters which allows an attacker to corrupt memory by one byte for each quote in the input. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06. The option parser allows an attacker to write past the end of a heap-allocated buffer by calling certain commands with a large number of specific short forms of options. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
It was reported [1] that the Linux kernel suffered from a flaw when doing key garbage collection. The patch [1] describes the issue as:
""" When a key is being garbage collected, it's key->user would get put before the ->destroy() callback is called, where the key is removed from it's respective tracking structures.
This leaves a key hanging in a semi-invalid state which leaves a window open for a different task to try an access key->user. An example is findkeyringbyname() which would dereference key->user for a key that is in the process of being garbage collected (where key->user was freed but ->destroy() wasn't called yet - so it's still present in the linked list).
"""
An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to crash the system.

An issue was discovered in Mutt before 1.10.1 and NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. They allow remote IMAP servers to execute arbitrary commands via backquote characters, related to the mailboxes command associated with an automatic subscription.
A flaw was found in mutt before 1.10.1. When "subscribing" to an IMAP mailbox, either via $imapchecksubscribed, or via the <subscribe> function in the browser menu, the lack of proper input parsing may lead to remote code injection from a malicous IMAP server.

MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.12.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer over-read and application crash) by injecting invalid tokens into a GSSAPI application session.
