An attacker can leverage sudo's -R (--chroot) option to run arbitrary commands as root, even if they are not listed in the sudoers file. Sudo versions 1.9.14 to 1.9.17 inclusive are affected.
A user could use shell injections with the Salt API using the SSH Client.
Zabbix Server 2.2.x and 3.0.x before 3.0.31, and 3.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when an attacker establishes a vulnerable Netlogon secure channel connection to a domain controller, using the Netlogon Remote Protocol (MS-NRPC), aka 'Netlogon Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability'.
A flaw was found in Apache httpd in versions 2.4.32 to 2.4.46. The uwsgi protocol does not serialize more than 16K of HTTP header leading to resource exhaustion and denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A memory corruption issue was found in Artifex Ghostscript 9.50 and 9.52. Use of a non-standard PostScript operator can allow overriding of file access controls. The 'rsearch' calculation for the 'post' size resulted in a size that was too large, and could underflow to max uint32t. This was fixed in commit 5d499272b95a6b890a1397e11d20937de000d31b.
JIT optimizations involving the Javascript arguments object could confuse later optimizations. This risk was already mitigated by various precautions in the code, resulting in this bug rated at only moderate severity.

It was discovered that websockets.c in LibVNCServer prior to 0.9.12 did not properly decode certain WebSocket frames. A malicious attacker could exploit this by sending specially crafted WebSocket frames to a server, causing a heap-based buffer overflow.
An issue was discovered in adns before 1.5.2. papmailbox822 does not properly check st from adnsfindlabelnext. Without this, an uninitialised stack value can be used as the first label length. Depending on the circumstances, an attacker might be able to trick adns into crashing the calling program, leaking aspects of the contents of some of its memory, causing it to allocate lots of memory, or perhaps overrunning a buffer. This is only possible with applications which make non-raw queries for SOA or RP records.
An issue was discovered in adns before 1.5.2. It hangs, eating CPU, if a compression pointer loop is encountered.
An issue was discovered in adns before 1.5.2. It fails to ignore apparent answers before the first RR that was found the first time. when this is fixed, the second answer scan finds the same RRs at the first. Otherwise, adns can be confused by interleaving answers for the CNAME target, with the CNAME itself. In that case the answer data structure (on the heap) can be overrun. With this fixed, it prefers to look only at the answer RRs which come after the CNAME, which is at least arguably correct.
An issue was discovered in libexif before 0.6.22. Several buffer over-reads in EXIF MakerNote handling could lead to information disclosure and crashes. This is different from CVE-2020-0093.
rcubeimage.php in Roundcube Webmail before 1.4.4 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via shell metacharacters in a configuration setting for imconvertpath or imidentifypath.
An issue was discovered in SaltStack Salt before 2019.2.4 and 3000 before 3000.2. The salt-master process ClearFuncs class does not properly validate method calls. This allows a remote user to access some methods without authentication. These methods can be used to retrieve user tokens from the salt master and/or run arbitrary commands on salt minions.
An issue was discovered in Squid before 5.0.2. A remote attacker can replay a sniffed Digest Authentication nonce to gain access to resources that are otherwise forbidden. This occurs because the attacker can overflow the nonce reference counter (a short integer). Remote code execution may occur if the pooled token credentials are freed (instead of replayed as valid credentials).
An issue was discovered in Squid through 4.7. When handling the tag esi:when when ESI is enabled, Squid calls ESIExpression::Evaluate. This function uses a fixed stack buffer to hold the expression while it's being evaluated. When processing the expression, it could either evaluate the top of the stack, or add a new member to the stack. When adding a new member, there is no check to ensure that the stack won't overflow.
Affected versions of Git have a vulnerability whereby Git can be tricked into sending private credentials to a host controlled by an attacker. Git uses external "credential helper" programs to store and retrieve passwords or other credentials from secure storage provided by the operating system. Specially-crafted URLs that contain an encoded newline can inject unintended values into the credential helper protocol stream, causing the credential helper to retrieve the password for one server (e.g., good.example.com) for an HTTP request being made to another server (e.g., evil.example.com), resulting in credentials for the former being sent to the latter. There are no restrictions on the relationship between the two, meaning that an attacker can craft a URL that will present stored credentials for any host to a host of their choosing. The vulnerability can be triggered by feeding a malicious URL to git clone. However, the affected URLs look rather suspicious; the likely vector would be through systems which automatically clone URLs not visible to the user, such as Git submodules, or package systems built around Git. The problem has been patched in the versions published on April 14th, 2020, going back to v2.17.x. Anyone wishing to backport the change further can do so by applying commit 9a6bbee (the full release includes extra checks for git fsck, but that commit is sufficient to protect clients against the vulnerability). The patched versions are: 2.17.4, 2.18.3, 2.19.4, 2.20.3, 2.21.2, 2.22.3, 2.23.2, 2.24.2, 2.25.3, 2.26.1.
accessibility/AXObjectCache.cpp in WebKit, as used in WebKitGTK through 2.26.4 and WPE WebKit through 2.26.4, allows a denial of service (application crash) because maintenance of the mdeferredFocusedNodeChange data structure mishandles removal.

An issue was discovered in openfortivpn 1.11.0 when used with OpenSSL before 1.0.2. tunnel.c mishandles certificate validation because hostname comparisons do not consider '\0' characters, as demonstrated by a good.example.com\x00evil.example.com attack.
A vulnerability was discovered in the PyYAML library in versions before 5.3.1, where it is susceptible to arbitrary code execution when it processes untrusted YAML files through the fullload method or with the FullLoader loader. Applications that use the library to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code on the system by abusing the python/object/new constructor.
Apache Tomcat could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a file read/inclusion vulnerability in the AJP connector. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read web application files from a vulnerable server and upload malicious JavaServer Pages (JSP) code within a variety of file types and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Note: This vulnerability is known as Ghostcat.
ircmodechannelupdate in plugins/irc/irc-mode.c in WeeChat through 2.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer overflow and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a malformed IRC message 324 (channel mode).
Including trailing white space in HTTP header values in Nodejs 10, 12, and 13 causes bypass of authorization based on header value comparisons
In Das U-Boot through 2020.01, a double free has been found in the cmd/gpt.c dorenamegptparts() function. Double freeing may result in a write-what-where condition, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code. NOTE: this vulnerablity was introduced when attempting to fix a memory leak identified by static analysis.
A flaw was found in php before 7.4.2. An out of bounds read in phpstriptagsex may lead to denial of service or potentially disclosure of sensitive data.

ImageMagick is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by a flaw in the WriteSGIImage function in coders/sgi.c. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
