The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the Biographical Info field (second-order, via restore) in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and the lack of sufficient preparation on an existing SQL query. Backuply exports the Biographical Info value verbatim inside an INSERT statement written to the backup's SQL dump (wpusermeta). When an Administrator later restores such a backup, the crafted payload breaks out of that INSERT statement and appends attacker-controlled SQL that executes with full database privileges. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to write arbitrary data to the database — in particular to update the defaultrole option in wpoptions to administrator (and enable open user registration) — so that a subsequently registered account is automatically granted the Administrator role, resulting in privilege escalation and full site takeover. Because the injection executes inside an INSERT during restore with no response returned to the attacker, the primitive is used to modify database records rather than to read existing data directly.
Softaculous Virtualizor before 3.2.9 (Patch 9) and 3.0.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the billing module handler that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to modify any tenant's account balance by supplying crafted act and frombillingmodule parameters to the admin panel dispatcher. Attackers can send a POST request with arbitrary uid and balance values in the billingdata field to trigger an unauthenticated parameterized UPDATE against the users table, enabling account balance manipulation and potential automated service suspension for targeted accounts.
Softaculous Virtualizor before 3.2.9 (Patch 9) and 3.0.0 contains a PHP object injection vulnerability in the billing module handler that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to supply arbitrary serialized PHP objects for deserialization by setting the act parameter to login with the frombillingmodule parameter present. Attackers can pass malicious serialized data through the billingdata POST field to the unserialize() function without allowedclasses restrictions, enabling exploitation of available POP chains to achieve remote code execution as root.
Softaculous Virtualizor before 3.2.9 (Patch 9) and 3.0.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the billing module handler that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root by bypassing authentication through specific parameter combinations. Attackers can deserialize a crafted billingdata POST field and inject shell payloads through the uid field, which is passed unmodified to procopen() via vexec(), yielding complete control of the host and all managed VPS instances.
Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere vulnerability in Softaculous PageLayer pagelayer allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects PageLayer: from n/a through <= 2.0.8.
Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in Softaculous FormLayer allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
This issue affects FormLayer: from n/a through 1.0.6.
A vulnerability has been found in AMPPS 2.7 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Encryption Passphrase Handler. The manipulation leads to denial of service. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 4.0 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-252679. NOTE: The vendor explains that AMPPS 4.0 is a complete overhaul and the code was re-written.
The WHMCS Reseller Module V2 2.0.2 in Softaculous Virtualizor before 2.9.1.0 does not verify the user correctly, which allows remote authenticated users to control other virtual machines managed by Virtualizor by accessing a modified URL.
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Softaculous PageLayer pagelayer allows DOM-Based XSS.This issue affects PageLayer: from n/a through <= 1.9.4.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Softaculous Team SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance. This issue affects SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance: from n/a through 1.1.2.
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Softaculous SpeedyCache speedycache. This issue affects SpeedyCache: from n/a through <= 1.1.8.
The SpeedyCache plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the speedycachesavevarniship, speedycacheimgupdatesettings, speedycachepreloadingaddsettings, and speedycachepreloadingdeleteresource functions in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.3. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to update plugin options.
The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.3 via the nodeid parameter in the backuplygetjstree function. This makes it possible for attackers with administrator privileges or higher to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Denial of Service in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.6. This is due to direct access of the backuply/restoreins.php file and. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to make excessive requests that result in the server running out of resources.
The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'options' parameter passed to the backuplywpclonesql() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in filemanager/login.php in the File Manager module in Softaculous Webuzo before 2.1.4 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the user parameter.
The login function in Softaculous Webuzo before 2.1.4 provides different error messages for invalid authentication attempts depending on whether the user account exists, which allows remote attackers to enumerate usernames via a series of requests.
index.php in Softaculous Webuzo before 2.1.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a SOFTCookies sid cookie within a login action.
Softaculous before 5.5.7 is affected by a code execution vulnerability because of External Initialization of Trusted Variables or Data Stores. This leads to privilege escalation on the local host.
Softaculous Webuzo contains a command injection vulnerability in the FTP management functionality. A remote, authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain code execution on the system.
Softaculous Webuzo contains a command injection in the password reset functionality. A remote, authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain code execution on the system.
Softaculous Webuzo contains an authentication bypass vulnerability through the password reset functionality. Remote, anonymous attackers can exploit this vulnerability to gain full server access as the root user.
