An issue was discovered in libexpat before 2.6.4. There is a crash within the XMLResumeParser function because XMLStopParser can stop/suspend an unstarted parser.
libcurl wrongly allows cookies to be set for Top Level Domains (TLDs) if thehost name is provided with a trailing dot.curl can be told to receive and send cookies. curl's "cookie engine" can bebuilt with or without Public Suffix Listawareness. If PSL support not provided a more rudimentary check exists to atleast prevent cookies from being set on TLDs. This check was broken if thehost name in the URL uses a trailing dot. This can allow arbitrary sites to set cookies that then would get sent to adifferent and unrelated site or domain.
A flaw was found in OpenSSL's Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response functionality in the signer certificate verification routines. This flaw could result in a linked application falsely believing that an x.509 Digital Certificate is either "good" or "unknown" when revoked and requires that the application use a non-default configuration. This vulnerability leads to an issue with data integrity and confidentiality.
An insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability exists in curl 4.9 to and include curl 7.82.0 are affected that could allow an attacker to extract credentials when follows HTTP(S) redirects is used with authentication could leak credentials to other services that exist on different protocols or port numbers.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the Libraries component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause no confidentiality impact, low integrity impact, and no availability impact.
An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the JAXP component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service resulting in a low availability impact using unknown attack vectors.
A TCP/IP packet spoofing attack flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TCP/IP protocol, where a Man-in-the-Middle Attack (MITM) performs an IP fragmentation attack and an IPID collision. This flaw allows a remote user to pretend to be the sender of the TCP/IP packet for an existing TCP/IP session.
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in GnuTLS. As Nettle's hash update functions internally call memcpy, providing zero-length input may cause undefined behavior. This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.
A flaw was found in the Linux SCTP stack. A blind attacker may be able to kill an existing SCTP association through invalid chunks if the attacker knows the IP-addresses and port numbers being used and the attacker can send packets with spoofed IP addresses.
curl 7.61.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from exposure of data element to wrong session due to a mistake in the code for CURLOPTSSLCIPHERLIST when libcurl is built to use the Schannel TLS library. The selected cipher set was stored in a single "static" variable in the library, which has the surprising side-effect that if an application sets up multiple concurrent transfers, the last one that sets the ciphers will accidentally control the set used by all transfers. In a worst-case scenario, this weakens transport security significantly.
There is an open race window when writing output in the following utilities in GNU binutils version 2.35 and earlier:ar objcopy strip ranlib. When these utilities are run as a privileged user (presumably as part of a script updating binaries across different users) an unprivileged user can trick these utilities into getting ownership of arbitrary files through a symlink.
GNU Binutils before 2.34 has a NULL pointer dereference in bfdpefparsefunctionstubs function in bfd/pef.c due to not checking return value of bfdmalloc. This bug allows attackers to cause a denial of service.

GNU Binutils before 2.34 has a NULL pointer dereference in bfdpefscanstartaddress function in bfd/pef.c due to not checking return value of bfdmalloc. This bug allows attackers to cause a denial of service.
Reference: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/showbug.cgi?id=25308
GNU Binutils before 2.34 has a NULL pointer deference vulnerability in function bfdpefparsesymbols (file bfd/pef.c) which could allow attackers to cause a denial of service.
Reference: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/showbug.cgi?id=25306
GNU Binutils before 2.34 has an uninitialized-heap vulnerability in function tic4xprintcond (file opcodes/tic4x-dis.c) which could allow attackers to make an information leak.
Reference: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/showbug.cgi?id=25319
A flaw exists in binutils in bfd/pef.c. An attacker who is able to submit a crafted PEF file to be parsed by objdump could cause a heap buffer overflow -> out-of-bounds read that could lead to an impact to application availability. This flaw affects binutils versions prior to 2.34.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.6.7. xdpumemreg in net/xdp/xdpumem.c has an out-of-bounds write (by a user with the CAPNETADMIN capability) because of a lack of headroom validation.
An array overflow was discovered in mt76addfragment in drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/dma.c in the Linux kernel before 5.5.10, aka CID-b102f0c522cf. An oversized packet with too many rx fragments can corrupt memory of adjacent pages.

In the Linux kernel through 5.4.6, there are information leaks of uninitialized memory to a USB device in the drivers/net/can/usb/kvaserusb/kvaserusbleaf.c driver, aka CID-da2311a6385c.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s scheduler, where it can allow attackers to cause a denial of service against non-CPU-bound applications by generating a workload that triggers unwanted scheduling slice expiration. A local attacker who can trigger a specific workload type could abuse this technique to trigger a system to be seen as degraded, and possibly trigger workload-rebalance in systems that use the slice-expiration metric as a measure of system health.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. The rtlusbprobe function mishandles resource cleanup on error. An attacker able to induce the error conditions could use this flaw to crash the system. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
A memory leak in the cx23888irprobe() function in drivers/media/pci/cx23885/cx23888-ir.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering kfifoalloc() failures, aka CID-a7b2df76b42b.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.6. There is a use-after-free caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/media/v4l2-core/v4l2-dev.c driver because drivers/media/radio/radio-raremono.c does not properly allocate memory.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.3. There is a use-after-free caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/dvb-usb-init.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.6. There is a use-after-free caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/media/usb/cpia2/cpia2usb.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.14. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/usb/misc/yurex.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1.8. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/media/usb/siano/smsusb.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.1. There is a use-after-free caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/net/wireless/intersil/p54/p54usb.c driver.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1.17. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the sound/usb/line6/pcm.c driver.
