crypto: algifaead - Revert to operating out-of-place
A flaw was identified in the X.Org X server’s X Keyboard (Xkb) extension where improper bounds checking in the XkbSetCompatMap() function can cause an unsigned short overflow. If an attacker sends specially crafted input data, the value calculation may overflow, leading to memory corruption or a crash.
A flaw was discovered in the X.Org X server’s X Keyboard (Xkb) extension when handling client resource cleanup. The software frees certain data structures without properly detaching related resources, leading to a use-after-free condition. This can cause memory corruption or a crash when affected clients disconnect.
Accessibility. A logic issue was addressed with improved checks.
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
A bug was found in Moby (Docker Engine) where containers were incorrectly started with non-empty inheritable Linux process capabilities, creating an atypical Linux environment and enabling programs with inheritable file capabilities to elevate those capabilities to the permitted set during execve(2). Normally, when executable programs have specified permitted file capabilities, otherwise unprivileged users and processes can execute those programs and gain the specified file capabilities up to the bounding set. Due to this bug, containers which included executable programs with inheritable file capabilities allowed otherwise unprivileged users and processes to additionally gain these inheritable file capabilities up to the container's bounding set. Containers which use Linux users and groups to perform privilege separation inside the container are most directly impacted.
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copypagetoiterpipe and pushpipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system.
A vulnerability was found in kvms390guestsidaop in arch/s390/kvm/kvm-s390.c in KVM for s390 in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with a normal user privilege may impact in unauthorized memory write access.
A random memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU i915 kernel driver functionality in the way a user may run malicious code on the GPU. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system.
.A flaw was found in the CAN BCM networking protocol in the Linux kernel, where a local attacker can abuse a flaw in the CAN subsystem to corrupt memory, crash the system or escalate privileges. This race condition in net/can/bcm.c in the Linux kernel allows for local privilege escalation to root.
A vulnerability was found in WebKit. The flaw is triggered when processing maliciously crafted web content that may lead to arbitrary code execution. Improved memory handling addresses the multiple memory corruption issues.
<p>A security feature bypass vulnerability exists in the way Microsoft ASP.NET Core parses encoded cookie names.</p> <p>The ASP.NET Core cookie parser decodes entire cookie strings which could allow a malicious attacker to set a second cookie with the name being percent encoded.</p> <p>The security update addresses the vulnerability by fixing the way the ASP.NET Core cookie parser handles encoded names.</p>
Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43. A specially crafted value for the 'Cache-Digest' header in a HTTP/2 request would result in a crash when the server actually tries to HTTP/2 PUSH a resource afterwards. Configuring the HTTP/2 feature via "H2Push off" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers.
An encoding error flaw exists in the Node.js code that is used to read a peer certificate in the TLS client authentication. An attacker can use this flaw to crash the process used to handle TLS client authentication.

cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. The OpenLDAP crash is ultimately caused by an off-by-one error in sasladdstring in common.c in cyrus-sasl.
An out of bounds write flaw was found in the SQLite component of the Chromium browser.

A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's Marvell WiFi chip driver. Where, while parsing vendor-specific informational attributes, an attacker on the same WiFi physical network segment could cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code. This flaw affects the network interface at the most basic level meaning the attacker only needs to affiliate with the same network device as the vulnerable system to create an attack path.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s implementation of the Marvell wifi driver, which can allow a local user who has CAPNETADMIN or administrative privileges to possibly cause a Denial Of Service (DOS) by corrupting memory and possible code execution.
An issue was discovered in Squid 4.0.23 through 4.7. When checking Basic Authentication with HttpHeader::getAuth, Squid uses a global buffer to store the decoded data. Squid does not check that the decoded length isn't greater than the buffer, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow with user controlled data.

A flaw was discovered in the Bluetooth protocol. An attacker within physical proximity to the Bluetooth connection could downgrade the encryption protocol to be trivially brute forced.
A stack-buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Redis hyperloglog data structure versions 3.x before 3.2.13, 4.x before 4.0.14 and 5.x before 5.0.4. By corrupting a hyperloglog using the SETRANGE command, an attacker could cause Redis to perform controlled increments of up to 12 bytes past the end of a stack-allocated buffer.
A heap-buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Redis hyperloglog data structure versions 3.x before 3.2.13, 4.x before 4.0.14 and 5.x before 5.0.4. By carefully corrupting a hyperloglog using the SETRANGE command, an attacker could trick Redis interpretation of dense HLL encoding to write up to 3 bytes beyond the end of a heap-allocated buffer.
A flaw was found in the way the Linux kernel's memory subsystem on certain 64-bit PowerPC with the hash page table MMU handled memory above 512TB. A local, unprivileged user could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system.

A out of bounds access flaw was found in the font layout engine in the 2D component of OpenJDK. Missing validation of the position value in GlyphIterator::setCurrGlyphID could lead to memory corruption, triggered by a specially crafted font file. An untrusted Java application or applet could possibly use this flaw to bypass Java sandbox restrictions.
A flaw was found in the BigDecimal implementation in the Libraries component of OpenJDK. An untrusted numeric value parsed by a Java application could the application to use an excessive amount of CPU time.
Apache HTTP Server, with MPM event, worker or prefork, code executing in less-privileged child processes or threads (including scripts executed by an in-process scripting interpreter) could execute code with the privileges of the parent process (usually root) by manipulating the scoreboard.
Incorrect alias information in IonMonkey JIT compiler for Array.prototype.slice method may lead to missing bounds check and a buffer overflow.
