gpg-key2ps in signing-party 1.1.x and 2.x before 2.10-1 contains an unsafe shell call enabling shell injection via a User ID.
The build package before 20171128 did not check directory names during extraction of build results that allowed untrusted builds to write outside of the target system, allowing escape out of buildroots.
A possible QBpmHandler segmentation fault on malformed BMP file. A crafted filed could cause the application to crash.

Red Hat Product Security has been made aware of a stack-based buffer overflow affecting the DHCP implementation of dnsmasq.
DISPUTED An issue was discovered in Jinja2 2.10. The fromstring function is prone to Server Side Template Injection (SSTI) where it takes the "source" parameter as a template object, renders it, and then returns it. The attacker can exploit it with {{INJECTION COMMANDS}} in a URI. NOTE: The maintainer and multiple third parties believe that this vulnerability isn't valid because users shouldn't use untrusted templates without sandboxing.
xvpng.c in xv 3.10a has memory corruption (out-of-bounds write) when decoding PNG comment fields, leading to crashes or potentially code execution, because it uses an incorrect length value.
An integer overflow that leads to a use-after-free in WebMIDI in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 73.0.3683.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.

KDE KAuth before 5.55 allows the passing of parameters with arbitrary types to helpers running as root over DBus via DBusHelperProxy.cpp. Certain types can cause crashes, and trigger the decoding of arbitrary images with dynamically loaded plugins. In other words, KAuth unintentionally causes this plugin code to run as root, which increases the severity of any possible exploitation of a plugin vulnerability.
A server could send a specially crafted SSH packet with a padding length value greater than the packet length. This would result in a buffer read out of bounds when decompressing the packet or result in a corrupted packet value.
An out of bounds read flaw was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way SFTP packets with empty payloads are parsed. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to cause a Denial of Service or read data in the client memory.
The packaging of NextCloud in openSUSE used /srv/www/htdocs in an unsafe manner, which could have allowed scripts running as wwwrun user to escalate privileges to root during nextcloud package upgrade.
A server could send a SSHMSGCHANNELREQUEST packet with an exit signal message with a length of max unsigned integer value. The length would then have a value of 1 added to it and used to allocate memory causing a possible memory write out of bounds error or zero byte allocation.
A server could send a value approching unsinged int max number of keyboard prompt requests which could result in an unchecked interger overflow. The value would then be used to allocate memory causing a possible memory write out of bounds error.

Chrome could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a parameter passing error in media player. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to the system.
